What types of people play GTAO?

This game mainly attracts the following types of people:

 

1. Teenager (12-18) boys - This type has more testosterone and aggression then they have brains. They use this game you burn off some of that "kill energy".

 

2. Teenage targets - This type is your classic "loser". They are bullied and harassed at school so they come to the game to work out their frustrations since they dont have the balls to kill in real life.

 

3. Nobodies - This type is your typical person of any age who is under appreciated at thier job/school and feels powerless. They have no authority or respect in their real life so they go into the game to kill people and feel powerful, even if only for a little while.

 

4. Closet Psychopaths - This type is pretty self explanatory. They want to kill people in real life but are afraid of prison.

 

5. Socials - This type comes to the game to meet new people, make new friends and enjoy co-op activities. They enjoy shopping and things like that.

 

6. Anti-socials - Typically refered to as "griefers", this type comes to the game with the sole intent of harassing other players. They get enjoyment and pleasure out of ruining other peoples fun and making others angry. This type is also known for their use of game breaking glitches.

 

7. Adventurers - This type comes to the game to explore and generally just have their own fun. They drive offroad, do trick flying etc. This type will dabble in social aspects if they meet just the right person or if their friends are around.

 

8. Wannabe "gangstas" - This type is typically black and want their friends (and strangers) to think their "hardcore niggas" even if its only in a videogame. They tend to be loud and annoying on the mic and refer to their friends as "nigga" and white people as "crackas". This type also includes white people who try to emulate black ghetto culture ("wiggers").

 

9. Children - This type is an offshoot of the "nobodies" type. They come to the game because they want to feel powerful (or what they believe to be powerful) by driving, flying and killing.

 

10. Females - No one knows why women do anything :p

 

Socials and Adventurers dont tend to last long because the other types are FAR more numerous and are really annoying.

Doesn't get hung up on labels. Despite being rare and not to bright these types are sought out by video game connoisseurs and those that wanna have a good tine.
