sivispacem
The issue with the OnePlus is their idiotic sales model. They clearly can't actually meet supply so only a handful of people who actually want the phone can get access to it. The whole thing feels more like a publicity stunt than a coherent business plan, hence why there were always phones for reviewers but huge waiting lists even for people who were invited to buy one. Reminds me a lot of Butterfly Labs and we all know how that ended. Gdog
i got my nexus 5 yesterday. i knew the nexus 6 was gonna be announced but didn't like the idea of it being made by motorola and based on the moto x. plus 5.9" screen is just way too big and i have huuuuge hands. really enjoying the N5. can't fault it for anything. i'm happy with the camera/battery/phone call quality which seems to be the main complaints against the phone. sivispacem
I get a day of battery out of my 5 with moderate use. Heavy use much less but I have a charger at work so I don't care. Camera is great, particularly in HDR mode, aside from the quite slow manual focus and the 4 second pause between clicking the app button and it loading. Call quality over 4G is outstanding. theworldfamous
Yeah the camera has improved A LOT with updates. I get about a day's worth of battery life too on a full charge, so it's not really a problem for me but i'm the type of person that forgets to charge it or my charger a lot. FranklinDeRoosevelt
Haha, dat price tho. Nexus 6 looks f*cking great though. I thought it would look terrible especially with the size, but it's definitely great. And I can't imagine how fast this phone would be looking at those specs. Btw, I'm getting the Galaxy S3 in a few days lol. I feel terrible now looking at the nexus 6, but oh well. How much are you paying for your S3? I'm paying upfront. £139 brand new. And then I'm going to order a sim on contract.

Drill Sergeant
I will get the Nexus 6 over the Note 4 mainly because it's cheaper and it has the new Android OS and larger screen, larger storage and I like the virtual buttons. I'm not use to the back button being on the right side.
Gdog
i don't understand why people complain about battery life on the nexus 5....mines is currently at 39% after 1 day 9 hours 37 mins. that's with 3 hours screen on time. i expect to get at least another 2 hours SoT out of it before I need to charge it. batteries these days in smartphones must be really good if that's considered bad. i don't think i got anywhere near that out of any smartphone i've ever owned. (iPhone 3GS up to 5S/5C, Galaxy S4 and Moto G) i guess it's just how you use it and what settings you got. i only use my phone to browse internet, facebook, twitter...maybe 1 or 2 games for a bit here and there, stream music and watch a few youtube videos. Flachbau
Most people complain because they see 3000+ mAh in a bunch of phones, so they automatically assume the Nexus 5's battery is sh*t. My mother has one, and she uses it all day. Games, Facebook, Chrome - and she doesn't complain. Charges it before bed, so that means its good for 17 hours or so. And I'm buying it from an official UK store, Carphone Warehouse that sell pretty much most of the big name brand phones which are all unlocked I think. I'm not too sure on that. The only phones that I knoow are locked to a network is the iPhone lol.

Flachbau
I think it's because some people constantly leave usage heavy apps open - Never leave a game like Real Racing 3 open.
FranklinDeRoosevelt
Yup. Android Phones are pretty much nerfed computers. You need to close every background app to make sure the app don't eat your battery and to close them. Flachbau

Gdog
i really can't get into that nexus 6 at all. don't like the design. should've stuck with LG or at least moved to HTC. really like the nexus 9 might be picking 2 of them up. one for myself and one as a gift for a friend. Flachbau
Same here Although, $400 is just too much for me.. I'd rather save up for my future PC build. Also, does anybody else think the Nexus logo is a bit too visible? On the Nexus 5, you couldn't really notice the branding.. El Dildo
the Note really is the best thing going right now. I'm biased, but it's also true easily the best phone I've ever owned and probably one of the single best small devices I've ever used.
Zikomos
I bought a Nexus 5 16GB model from the Google Play store and it literally went out of stock within an hour afterwards. I was planning on purchasing the 32GB model but it sold out the day before! I really love the size and price point of the Nexus 5 when compared to the 6. Flachbau
It is still a great device! The Nexus 4 is aging pretty fast, so I think the Nexus 5 is the next best thing.. I think whenever T-Mobile gets these in stores (Nov. 12th for those wondering), I'll definitely check it out. I'm excited!
