I'm sure it will still be running well for the next two years :)

Oh, wow! Very nice. @upleaks or @evleaks or whoever it is shares a lot of cool things.

I like how subtle the "HTC" branding is.

Well, according to Wall Street, the Shamu expected to be released this month. And is gonna be a phablet. ( inserts *thanks to Apple* ) :p

If the latest rumor on the matter is to be believed, tomorrow we'll be treated to the official announcement of both the HTC-made Nexus 9 tablet as well as the Nexus 6 phablet by Motorola. But don't expect a big event or anything like that - they'll apparently be introduced via a blog post by Google.

This reportedly has to do with the fact that Android L isn't finished yet, though it's unclear how that has prevented Google from holding a gathering for this product launch. Regardless, both of the new devices will run Android L from day one.

The Nexus 9 has had all of its previously leaked specs 'confirmed' once more by yet another anonymous source. So it should have an 8.9-inch 2,048x1,440 touchscreen, a 64-bit Nvidia Tegra K1 chipset, an 8 MP rear camera, a 3 MP front snapper, and dual front-facing speakers. It will weigh 480g and will come with a brushed aluminum frame, and not an all-metal design (this solution was reportedly chosen in order to keep costs down).

An 'origami' magnetic case for the Nexus 9 will be announced too. The Nexus 9 will be up for pre-order starting on October 17, and it should become available on November 3, though these dates could be changed.

There will be a 16GB Wi-Fi-only version which will cost $399, and a 32GB model with LTE connectivity built-in going for $499. Both will sport microSD card slots for storage expansion.

This particular rumor comes with no additional information about the Nexus 6, but it just got a leaked press render mere hours ago.

f*cking looks beautiful

Such a beautiful device. Did not expect the tan-ish color for the Nexus 9, however. Very nice.

Ehhhh..... so much for affordable :/ I should've waited to get a new phone.

Haha, dat price tho.

Nexus 6 looks f*cking great though. I thought it would look terrible especially with the size, but it's definitely great. And I can't imagine how fast this phone would be looking at those specs.

Btw, I'm getting the Galaxy S3 in a few days lol. I feel terrible now looking at the nexus 6, but oh well.

How much are you paying for your S3?

I don't understand why people are so eager to 'get rid' of their perfectly awesome current smartphone.

sort of like people who feel the urge to have a brand new vehicle every year.

unless you're rich it's not wise.

priorities are funny, man.

my Note 3 is gangster and I hope that it lasts me for years. just because something is slightly newer and might have slightly improved specs on paper doesn't compel me to go out and buy it like a must-have.

$650?! f*ck that! it's a beautiful phone, really, but I thought the whole point of the Nexus phones was that they were cheap/affordable. I was planning on picking up the 6, but now I know that ain't happening.

650 dollars. jeeeez.

I paid 150, cracked but you can still use it with an outerbox. Paid another 130 to get her fixed which resulted that. The guy took the glass off again and short of solved it. Not as big like it was but comes backs and goes away after a minute or by squeezing it.

What the hell? Is that bubbling inwards or outwards? Or is that in the screen?

I honestly don't know. But after my mom took it back it was a lot smaller than what it was. It sometime comes when you're wearing skinny jeans or laying on it and goes away after a short period.

That's weird. I remember my main issue with the G2 is that after I replaced the screen, it kept popping up.. but that's another story.

What font are they using for the text at the end? It looks very similar to Roboto, but I don't think they have a bold version..

Also, their new commercials are simply awesome..

Oh yes NBC, such a surprise

I was always going to find it difficult to let go of my Nexus 4. But thanks to the ludicrous price of Nexus 6, I'll be holding onto my Nexus 4 much longer.

Thankfully, the Nexus 4 is going to get the Lollipop update in spite of it being older than 18 months. So, kudos to Google for that.

That's reassuring. The new Nexus is indeed a tad expensive, which is quite the turnoff especially in comparison with the Oneplus One.

I'd have tolerated a ~£75 price rise over the 5 for a product that actually exists in enough numbers to count as a product (looking at you, OnePlus) but the 6" form factor is too big for comfortable use without a stylus IMO and £150 is too much of a price jump cover the 5.

What I really want is 6 hardware minus the pointless QHD screen (but with AMOLED) in a 5" phone.

I have a nexus 5, it works well mostly, but the battery life is pretty poor and it's impossible to make decent phonecalls of there's even a hint of wind.

It's a better as a gadget than as a phone. I like that the design is low key. People never ask me about my phone, which is great.

If the Nexus 6 is too over priced for you, a great alternative is the Nexus 5. If you don't want to upgrade then that's fine. Its still a great phone. My mom has one and I use it too. Most likely in the next month, the price will drop.

Yeah, I would have purchased a One Plus One if it didn't have that flawed invite system. Funnily enough, a week after I bought my Galaxy S5, a 1+1 invite showed up in my email.
