New melee weapons ideas

Dildo is whack, keep that sh*t in Saints Row. But I like the other weapon choices. I do wish NPCs didn't die after 3 hits. It is fun to fight them. I could spend hours picking fights with them using melee weapons. How awesome would it be?

Razor wire is better. SR III had a baseball bat with nails.

but....we dont realy need more melee weapons, sertainly not since every npc is down with one hit....its honestly doesnt matter with what you kill a npc anyhow...

and when is it realy usefull to use against other players ?

so with that reasoning should we also say that any weapon that is not top tier or an explosive is pointless to have in the game as well since players tend to use their best stuff when fighting, am i right?

or it shoud be something like the musket, its still fun use and rarely even realy practical

seriously, i rather have a bolt action rifle with iron sights or a flare gun or a rifle based on the m1 garand or a flame trower and such instead of more uninteresting melee weapons

unless a sword actualy cuts people and doesnt melee just like the knifes we have already do...but yea, when is that gonna happen ?

If I'm honest, I barely use any of the melee weapons (have them all except the hammer) aside from my character's fists. For me they're novelty. That said, I still want that hammer.

I was thinking it could always be on, as you walk around, without having to aim and slow your pace. It also wouldn't scare people away and get you a wanted level, but you could still bash someone with it.
