Yeah, even though there are some songs I really like.. The stations in GTA V were a true letdown. All of the songs suck. The only stations I really liked where the ones in GTA IV and SA.

Rebel radio is obiously the biggest disappointment of all of them. The other ones are just about what to expect from the genre and pretty likeable if you're into that kind of music. But Rebel radio just blows, even if you like country. There are good songs on it, but songs like Git Outta my Car manage to ruin the ENTIRE station. There are too many bad songs on it. Still love me some D-I-V-O-R-C-E or General Lee, though. Should've been like K-Rose, which the Rebel radio guy calls "pussy country" or something like that. Well, pussy country all day everyday, dammit

All GTA games have great soundtracks

VC had new wave classics

SA had actual Manchester, even had a baggy singer character lel

IV was good but all the foreign music threw me off at first, meeting lots of Europeans helped me appreciate it though

V has a few okay songs but it's definitely the first game since SA where I can't just listen to any station, some of them are really awful

RMP, VBR and channel X are great, as one who knew a few songs before they got added in it's really cool to hear them in the actual game

I guess I should answer the OP lol, the worst imo is radio los santos. swear to god I heard someone rhyme a word with the same exact word on that station, is that what hip hop is now?

Tbh The only instance of III I plaplayeds TBOGT so I listened to Vice City FM, Fernando really needs to make a comeback.

That's the best song on that station, hell all of the stations have at least one good song except for the "modern rap" station. That's pretty much all terrible, although I can still, a year and change later, laugh when the guy says, "flibby flibby flaaoo" or whatever he says.

 

The Mexican station's got the "Que" song and the beepbeepbeep one.

 

Channel X, despite being Californian punk which is generally not good, is certainly above average and Keith Morris' tired punk rocker shtick is far too familar to a 40 year old man/

 

FlyLo is possibly the best.

 

Rebel Rock has some winners. As does World FM.

 

Radio Mirror Park has the most amusing DJ.

 

The Soulride or whatever station is pretty goddamned awful. That might be the worst, actually.

 

VBR is mostly OK but entirely forgettable. Says something about modern rock radio.

 

Blue Ark is a pretty miserable selection of reggae, which is a shame, and Lee's gotta be about 80 and sounds like dementia is starting... It sort of makes me sad.

 

Bootsy's funk is too '80s and not enough '70s, but brings up a solid #2 predicated by a solid amount of Bootzilla, the world's only rhinestone rockstar doll. And the soul station is a total winner. Not a bad note on it.

The original Channel X sucked.. That wasn't even punk rock. At least with this version, they added what I would have expected from a skateboard tape.

 

Blue Ark is ass, half of FlyLo was lame, Soulwax is complete garbage, I can't take East Los seriously... I guess I hate the original soundtrack now.

 

Radio Los Santos has too much Kendrick Lamar. At least with this version, they added some raw songs. "Work" by A$AP Ferg, the other song named "Work" by Young Scooter, and "Collard Greens" were the best on the new station... Even then, I'll listen to Non-Stop Pop, Radio Mirror Park, VBR, and Los Santos Rock Radio on any given day.
