Hit by Lightning
Ok, this is my second and (hopefully last thread) with regard to a gaming laptop! Triad Wars will be PC only and this is something I can't tolerate Found this laptop: HP ENVY 15-J186na Processor Intel® Core™ i7-4700MQ Processor (2.4 GHz, 3.4 GHz with TurboBoost, 6MB cache) RAM 8 GB DDR3L Graphics card NVIDIA GeForce GT 840M (2 GB GDDR3) Storage 1 TB SSHD, 5400 rpm It's around £800 in PC World, and I'm prepared to get it (this is my budget until 2 years from now!) Question is, is it good for gaming? Flachbau
Flachbau
It should do the job quite nicely. The 840M gets decent reviews and the CPU is just great. Edited September 24, 2014 by Android Hit by Lightning

derricky
I suggest the Lenovo G505s, you can check its specs, it features: AMD A10-5750M 2.5 GHz Processor 6 GB DDR3 RAM 1 TB 5400 rpm Hard Drive 15.6-Inch Screen Windows 8.1; 5-Hour Battery Life Also you could find one here http://gaminglaptopunder1000.org/best-cheap-gaming-laptops-under-500-dollars/ Edited October 9, 2014 by derricky
