Why do people kill others in free roam?

Also how else are we going to unlock the tints ? Sure as sh*t ain't going to happen by clicking your heels together 3 times.

It's not a case of being a pacifist, it's just annoying dying everytime you end up near another player.

Doesn't bother me personally - I just avoid it and accept the occasional death, but I can see why others get frustrated. I know two non-gamers in person who played GTA:V, but gave up in GTAO because people kept killing them in free roam.

Second 90% of the players are little girls so when you do get into a dm its forced and locked weapons. Again no tints are getting unlocked so therye pointless if you wanna unlock tints.

 

Third im lvl 282 so when I try hosting a dm people leave when they see owned weapons. Again because they are little girly b!tches. So still no way to unlock tints.

 

They probly think im going to use the minigun and rpg but im not until my ap pistol, auto shotty , and ak all have lspd tints first.

 

Now anyone I see afk in freeroam gets domed by my choice of weapon to unlock said tints. Ill also go after lower levels and anyone I feel has a disadvantage fighting me. Im not heartless if they cry too much I will stop amd move on.

 

You can thank all the sh!t user creations that plague the quick job because of lack of filters, or thank the pvssys that wont let people use their own weapons because theyre either lower level or just a plain b!tch. And thank yourself if youre part of those mentioned groups.

 

Thats why freeroam is such a killzone. Dont think ive played a straight up dm with owned weapons since dm creator was launched.

 

Oh and we really need to thank the guy who created Prison [email protected] Fight and really got the plague spreading..

Boredom. Playing the game nicely without killing noobs will make it boring real quick. My favorite thing to do is get in a buzzard and blow up people driving around los santos.

You're absolutely right the deathmatch scene really got f*cked up badly from what it was in the beginning of the year. The only time I use "Forced Only" is when I want to do some pistol matches. Other than that owned weapons all the way. Problem with "Forced+Pickups" is depending on where you spawn you'll have the weapon hoarders. So lots of cases you're stuck with a pistol, while everyone on the opposite team are going to be sawing you half with Assault Rifles, or Pump Shotguns. Free Roam is still mild from what it was like in the beginning of the game, and during the billionaire era. The last time I was in bad sport that too was even a ghost town, with white dot players who for the most part weren't bothering anyone.

A deep(ish) and philosophical(ish) answer is this: violence is the only way to communicate with one another in GTA:O.

 

Think about this; if a player is friendly and invites you into his car or apartment, what then? What activities can you actually perform together? Rob a store maybe... that's about it, right? You sit there awkwardly, wondering when it's polite to leave.

 

However, what if that same player attacks you? Suddenly you have options. You can fight, turn it into a freestyle death match. You can run, turn it into a high speed pursuit. Or flee on foot. Or take to the air and enter a dogfight. Or go off radar and try to stealthily escape. And so on.

This is quite possibly the best, wisest, and truest answer I have seen to any question on here.

Why do I do it?
So that I can respawn in Passive Mode and air-thrust in front of them.

Personally, I find there is enough to do in the game to not bother with dick measuring contests running around a city block spawn killing.

- car mods

- clothes etc

- meeting new people (not me, but some do this).

 

If I want to PvP I go to a deathmatch. Troll-matches are annoying, but once you get in with a good group and chain deathmatches it's a lot of fun.

 

(Not saying people shouldn't kill in free roam though, it is FREE roam, you can do whatever you want, but it's not PVP Deathmatch Only mode).

My ass...little kids use it because they're too scared to play anyone with better weapons than them. Guess what? Your rank should count for something...I earned my guns, and I'm going to use whatever the hell I want. Why should I be limited just because you either suck or don't play as much?

 

I remember the early days of GTAO...you'd play a deathmatch and when you saw a Rank 60 join, you knew the game changed because that guy had a grenade launcher. Eventually, the RPGs would be introduced, and that changed things again...it was awesome. Now, it's pistols or fists only and deathmatches absolutely suck. I used to do nothing but DMs, now I never join them.

So tired of you soft hearted people playing GTA online, play story mode or Sims or some other weak ass game. GTA Online is about stealing, killing and whatever other foolishness you can get into. I'm going to kill till I run out of bullets refill my ammo and kill some more. Count me in that group. I realize GTA has lots of incentives for players to kill other players, but I grew bored of that a month after GTAO. There are so many fun things to do with other players cooperating instead of killing each other. Trust me, if players could join a free roam server where you could not lock on to or blow up other players a lot more fun would be had.

What I don't understand is this game has been out for a year and unless you are a level 1 then it's your own damn fault for choosing a public lobby if you don't want to be involved in PvP.

 

The people who complain about being shot at are a bunch of sorry ass bitches who more than likely complain about everything. There are days I'm not in the mood for PvP so guess what I don't play in a public lobby it's as simple as that.
