MG vs. Combat MG - any actual difference?

The difference between them for me is that I actually use the Combat MG.

MG all the way here.

I'll use the Combat MG when I need more than 100 bullets to spam it, but I find the regular MG far better. Its also easier to fee aim using the normal MG.

I like to destroy tanks with an RPG and climb on top of them, then shoot the regular MG into the air as celebration.

The MG certainly sounds more badass, definitely looks so if you hold it at hip-level.

Just 10 minutes ago, I accidently bought the regular MG since I had to get all my guns loaded.

 

Since the weapon came with attachments, I assume I've issued it before back in the old school days.

(Enough of nostalgia moments)

 

So basically, the weapon stats show that the combat MG has improved fire rate, accuracy and a tiny amount of more damage (or power if you will) compared to the regular one.

 

I've tried both of the now, and I can't feel any difference for real.

 

So is the stats just as unaccurate as the ones in Call of Duty, or could YOU perhaps leave me an opinion on both guns and add some in-depth if possible.

 

It's just like I prefer the regular MG more cause of the look, but don't want a f*cking gun that can't even win a fight.

The combat MG sounds so much better and heavier. It's a beast.....

RPD is crude and inferior than MK46 . if u managed to obtain MK46 , then RPD should be served as backup weapon in case u somehow lose ur powerful MG or if ur friend need some firepower

Really? I have a scope on the combat MG and not the regular one so that's probably why then. I want to shoot it from the hip though. If you're shooting this gun the proper way, you're doing it wrong.

trevor and franklin will always fires the micro SMG from hip unless scope is attached

michael , in other hand always properly shoulder the gun even without scope ( meaning that michael is marksman and expert of shooting )

 

note : although , sometimes the mini uzi's stock will be folded or unfolded . however , the unused HUD mentioned there's another mini uzi's HUD that has stock unfolded

I didn't know that. You mean sometimes in the game the stock is unfolded? I think I've only seen it folded. Is this in both SP and online?

even my little bro wanted to use folded mini uzi . thinking folded model is better than unfolded ones

yet , these just doesn't affect the stats nor recoil

Combat MG all the way. It's gotten me out of so many deadly situations.
