Why are so many world records bugged in the GTA Online?

Why are soooooo many world records bugged in the GTA Online?

For example:

I almost do a perfect race, and I get, for example, a mark of 1:30. But then I see that the world record is just... 10 seconds.... THAT IS IMPOSIBLE!!!

Why Rockstar did not work at it?

Happens in a lot of games, lag can cause this. Not everyone who has a 00:01 time intended for it.

 

Although I am sure there is some glitch too.

How are we supposed to know?

 

We can't tell why the bugs occur and what have created them, neither we can tell how to fix them, all because we don't know how the game works - that's what Rockstar North does. Only they can tell what the problem is, but they surely do seem too lazy to either speak or take action of these mysterious bugs.

Start a random race and set it to an odd number of laps, like 13 or 19, something nobody has done yet (might be hard lol).

 

Unless they fixed that.

best thing to do is wait till R* releases new races, wake your ass up early and get on that sh*t.

Thanks. Ok. So it's "just" caused by bugs and cheatters...

 

In that case, I think that Rockstar should fix that. No bugs, no cheatters.

 

At least, I hope that in the next GTA, they have a better control about the world records marks.

Hackers, and it has been that way since day 1

 

Leaderboards got wiped 1 time iirc (it was the special maintenance R* held to get rid of all the billions) but never touched again.

Rockstar just sucks at deterring cheaters and fixing glitches.

Hackers hacked the leaderboards and got ridiculous times, as per usual R* is too lazy to fix it even though several people have reported to them.

God mode glitch was around for weeks. The hooker glitches didn't even last more than 2 weeks.

It's been like that for almost a year

I got mine once on Criminal Records on a Dune Buggy (The tattoo showed up but not the stats) and three times in a row on the dam on Vinewood Hills in a Sultan.

Its one of the things that pisses me off about video games connected to the internet.

 

Leaderboards are never accurate. Cheaters and modders get the last laugh.

 

Why put racing in the game if you don't care about it being fair?

 

Oh wait, sorry...forgot about Catchup for sec there.

 

Its like they know they can't even keep up so they threw in a few other ridiculous variables to sway things even more for the hell of it.
