How To Do Missions Without Tutorial?

Okay, so I've made a new a character as I've gotten bored of level 161. I naturally skipped the tutorial, and now I can't seem to find a way to start a mission. I have leveled to 4 from just robbing stores, but neither Gerald or Simeon will call and ask to me to stop a drug deal/and or steal someone's car, do I need to do something else to get missions?

You have to do the initial mission which is a team death match I believe. It's marked on the map if I remember.

Nah you don't..

 

rank up to level 5 and you'll get a call from Simeon or Gerald.

Once you become a higher level you'll receive calls.

 

But why wait until you're a higher level when you can just select a quick job? Just select contact missions and you'll be matched up with players participating too.

 

You can go from a lowly rank like level 1 to the double digits in no time flat. I made a second character, and I was matched up with triple digit players taking on missions like 'Chemical Extraction' and 'Chopper Tail'
