No Jobs of Same Type on Voting Screen?

If the previous job you played was a race for example, at least 2 of the 6 options to vote on should be a race.

Why does R* insist on nudging us toward other job types?

It's random. Press exit, wait for your life to end watching loading screens, go back to freemode & choose what you want.

Or make a playlist.

Except you can't include missions.

You know the two word answer.

That's the thing I liked about GTA IV. If you joined a race, it would always be races you'd play. It would just go back to the lobby and the host could choose the track but not change the game type.

The thing that pisses me off on GTA V, is that people always want to replay the same tracks over and over and over. Yes, this did happen on GTA IV but not as much as this if I remember. Every time a track like The Commute comes up, it's guaranteed to be replayed.

The solution is to get with like minded peeps. Commute is quite easy. Lots of newbies use commute and clogged drain to get them upgrades.

I've been saying this for a while. I know it's random but it would be nice if for example the top half of the options were the same game type you just played with the bottom half being random.

I agree, said the same thing to my partner when we were playing the other day as well.

We'd done (with a group of random players) 5 deatmatches, then we got 3 vote screens without a single normal deathmatch. Everyone quit out and we had to find a new group.

Generally people will want to do deathmatches, races, or missions and chain them. Rarely do you find a group of randoms (unless they're newbies) who want to go through various job types.

Is this The Guy?

This does piss me off at times when I just want to play missions.

Sometimes I can stay in the voting screen forever but there are a lot of times where I have to exit out after every mission because I never see any missions as options.

Seems reasonable to me. You would think R* would encourage players to stay in the same group by offering them job options that they are more likely to vote for.
