Because what the experts on those websites say are just those particular people's opinions.

That's what you don't get. It's a feeling thing. It's not black and white. Those "experts" do not define anything. Individual owners do.

Like I said before, it looks, sounds, and performs like a muscle car to me. That's all I need to know.

So when you get sick, do you go see a doctor or someone in pre-med school? Both are in the same field and one is more of an expert than the other. The expert has studied longer, practiced longer, has seen more, has had more experiences, yet you would discredit an expert saying that "it's only an opinion". True, it's only an opinion in either case, but I'd take the opinion that is supported by knowledge and experience over someone who is new to the field.

This is what you don't get. People are EXPERTS for a reason. They are experts because they are acknowledged by others (experts and novices alike) to have a superior understanding in a field. They don't care what you or I think. They simply tell it like it is and the only difference here is that I accept the expert opinion and you discredit them without basis or support.

Those experts actually DID define what a muscle car is. Those experts are a group of OWNERS. In fact, they provided a STRICT definition in addition to definitions of why something is or isn't a true muscle car. Something you also seem to be incapable of understanding.

It can look, sound, and perform like one, but that doesn't mean it IS one. And individual owners define what a muscle car is? Okay, so I guess I can go buy a Chevy Cobalt SS and say that I have a muscle car huh? I defined it, because to ME, a non-expert, I say it IS one. Solid reasoning you have there. Owners of what particular models then? I know a good place to start...the ones that are recognized as muscle cars by Muscle Car Club and other recognized groups filled with EXPERTS.

what you don't seem to understand is that there are indeed experts saying a muscle car has to have 2-doors but there are also enough experts not agreeing with that. the one thing they agree on that is has to be affordable and must have 10lbs per hp.At least that were the requirements in the late 60s for a car manufacturer to classified a car as a muscle car. where on the mcc website does it say only 2 doors you say intermediate only. this is what mcc says about that: The strict definition only includes intermediate size vehicles. In reality, performance oriented intermediate size vehicles didn't appear until 1964. Before then, manufacturers took existing fullsize vehicles and added extra performance to them. Because of this, the early fullsize performance vehicles are generally considered muscle cars

And lets not forget were talking about gta here not project cars or something. you can say all you want about your so called true muscle cars. were talking about muscle cars. Were do i say true muscle car. Times are changing like in the past to me a coupe had 2 doors. but nowadays there are a lot of coupes with 4 doors.

So i agree with op that the buffalo belongs in the muscle car section next to the gauntlet and dominator (which are pony cars therefore by its strictest definition not muscle cars).

Buffalo S Muscle/Sedan Based off of the HEMI Chargers which in fact are without any doubt still MUSCLE.

Buffalo Sport/Sedan Based off the V6 version of the Charger.

Futo Sport/Tuner

Gauntlet Muscle/Coupe according to players that cry about how many doors a car has. This one is a 2 door and so it's a coupe.

Dominator Muscle Coupe

Phoenix Muscle Coupe

Ruiner Muscle Coupe

F620 Muscle Coupe or Sport Coupe

Buccaneer Muscle Coupe

Sultan Offroad Sedan based off of a Lancer Evo or a WRX which in fact both are used as rally cars.

Banshee Muscle Sport Real life Vipers both in the same way a Shelby Cobra would be.

Just a few more ideas. They also should break down SUV's into a street and offroad category. Some folks just chrome out SUV's as status symbols while white boys usually drive them off road the way they were built to be driven. So we should have the SUV's broke down into 2 categories. Or just really simply things and let the players who buy and customize their cars decide what category they want it in. Me personally i'd stick my Hearse in Utilities since it is one basically. Hauling dead bodies around in caskets qualifies it as a utility vehicle.

Exemplar and Felon should be sedans... They both have 4 doors!

You could got just rename coupes to sports coupes/sedans and the sedans class to coupes/sedans. The faster coupes/sedans would be in sports coupes/sedans and slower coupes/sedans would be in the coupes/sedans. I don't see the point of separating coupes and sedans that have similar performance just because one has 2 more doors. Everybody gets hung up on the coupe title. The exemplar and felon belong in coupes because they are as fast as other coupes in that class and are too fast for the sedans class.

Correct. This was done for balance. The Exemplar and Felon out perform the other Sedans in the game.
