Gta V First Person in foot and car CONFIRMED !

LOL. As i understand, we'll only be able to transfer our character, not even the garages/cars we own.

Or, would they give us a third, FREE garage?

Methinks only your stats and rank will transfer. Why? Because cash cards.

 

 

Well that would suck Nutz! i want all my cars in my garage too, I dont see why those wouldnt transfer as well, because they are listed under my profile on the rockstar social club page, that has all my info for my online character, how much money i have in bank, what cars i own, etc. It would seem like to me all that info would easily transfer over. if it dont , i might as well just create a new character.

I'm just glad I never got into the online last gen. I like the idea that things all transfer over however I have a feeling things aren't going to work so well when the game first releases... maybe it's just paranoia from the first release when everyone had problems connecting, cars disappearing, etc. I'll be happy if my cars and character does transfer but I think I may just start over just for the hell of it. However for those of you who have spent hours and hours online I feel for ya, if it doesn't work out. I'd be pissed off if I had millions of dollars, a couple garages full of pumped up cars, etc. That truly would be a sh*tty deal to say the least.

as for the original post, i sure hope its true, i think it would really take gta v to a new level of excitement! Maybe it will, maybe it wont actually happen, either way, all i know is , nov 18th needs to hurry the hell up. I sold my ps3 in dec so i been missing my gta v!!!!

I can relate, my PS3 went out in january. And instead of getting a new console I just updated to a PS4 and moved on... been missing GTA ever since. I didn't really get around to getting heavily into the online because of it. So I'm actually pumped for the game to release, FP mode or not.

Metric makes more sense. 10mm = 1cm. 10cm = 1dm, 10dm = 1m, 100m = 1 km.

While Imperial, not so much. 12 inches = 1 foot, 3 feet = 1 yard, 22 yards = 1 chain, 10 chains = 1 furlong, 8 furlongs = 1 mile.

 

Sorry. But you forgot that 5.5 yards is a Rod, Pole or Perch! I am showing my age now, as the rhyme you quoted above was drummed into a teach back in 1978! She also tought as about Decimeters and Decameters, both things I have never heard of since, until you quoted them above

I agree with you a bit but I think R* knows what they do. I just hope that they add some of the cut stuff, like new minigames - Basketball, etc. oh and enterable Burger Shots and Cluckin' Bells and whatnot, we want it and we need it!

I can't help thinking that this is true.. There have been comments made from people who have seen the demo about a "new" feature that would excite and surprise everyone.. And I have been racking my brain since reading that, thinking what this could be.. This this revelation certainly hits the spot!

Well, some cars over here in the US mainly older models, have both behind the MPH it'll have KMH as well. Now I don't know if they will do that here but they might. Either way, it's pretty easy to tell the difference in MY opinion.

Yeah i been missing playing gta v really bad i knew it would come to ps4, so just been buying my time until then.However, i rarely play a game offline or storymode( eventhough i did play gta v to the end of storymode) i mainly just play online for all games, and i love the GTA ONLINE. Sure they had some problems when it first started, but that was mainly cause so many million peps hitting their servers so hard at once.Rockstar to me, has always had the best track record of any game company i know of as far as fixing issues and producing such quality games. I had some nice cars that id want back, i wasnt that high of a level , maybe like 50s but i want my cars and money more than anything. So hopefully all the stuff off the social club will transfer!

Also there is a fuel bar on there. Make me think, will cars have fuel? Or it will be stuck on F forever? I would like the cars to have fuel. Not something ridiculous like refuel every day, but maybe if you drive around non-stop for an in-game week you would need to refill. That`s 336 minutes of non-stop driving in real life, which is 5,6 hours. Not so bad. Would make the roleplay guys go nuts. But if the system is implemented I bet you could tell mechanic to refill the fuel.

 

Not gonna lie, that would be cool. Yesterday I probably drove 100 miles in my Massacro. I went everywhere yesterday and would've liked to fill it up as I'm sure I would've had to do so. That thing average probably gets 14 MPG and with a lot of srop and go traffic and a lot of accelerating and revving, I'd surely be low on gas.

I think you are jumping the gun here. We should wait until the next-gen versions are out before anyone even starts to judge them. Whilst it is understandable that you think they should add other things that might have a bigger impact on the game overall, it's not like a first-person mode is going to hurt. It can add a whole new level of immersion to an already good game. In fact, I would say that the more they add, the better.

 

There will be a number of additions in the new releases that will make V a better game. This is not a simple re-release from an over one year old title- it's a remastered edition, meaning there will be plenty of new stuff besides the improved visuals and AI.

 

On the other hand, you shouldn't expect an entirely new game. Keep your expectations realistic, but don't go all pessimistic either.

Yeah everyone is different man. I'm the opposite, I'm more of a single player gamer and usually only play multiplayer once I'm completely done with the single player and bored I start experimenting with the online. And that's what happened with me and my GTA, I had played through the story twice and finally got a bit bored and just started playing online maybe 3 weeks before the PS3 went out. I was bummed I had just reached level 15 or 20 and was just than getting things unlocked but was still far away as well. So getting all of that back would be pretty nice, mainly my cars.

 

Annnnnyyways getting off topic and taking up space that people don't care about. I'm pumped for the possibility of FP mode, if it's there I will be so shocked and mesmerized that my entire first playthrough will consist of hardly leaving that camera mode. If it's not there, I'll be a little heartbroken but I can live without it. I won't lie this thread has me hyped, I haven't been on the forums until just yesterday since the release last year. Seems like there's less idiots around than there was or at least less arguments that I've seen the past few days.
