Jeansowaty Posted September 19, 2014 Share Posted September 19, 2014 Okay guys, what's your fave car? In GTA1, my favorite is the Challenger. It's easy to steer with it and it's good. Other honorable mentions are the Cossie and LeBonham, they are nice too. For GTA London 1969 my faves are the Crapi, and the Locust. They are pretty fast and light, excellent for timed missions, imo. All cities got different Porsches, so Liberty City had Penetrator (looking like old 356 with its top up and Porka Turbo). San Andreas got Penetrator (looking like 911 and Speeder (looking like Porsche 356 Speedster) and Vice City had Penetrator from SA and Porka (which was Penetrator from LC with its top down). LC - Counthash SA - Monster Bug VC - F-19 London 1961 - Fab (can't go wrong with old Thunderbirds) London 1969 - Crapi again I love Capris... there's even one parked in my neighborhood. I feel driving in GTA 1 quite similar to Micro Machines. And regarding cars in GTA 1. How could I forget about Beast GTS One of my favourites in LC. For GTA 2 we have many lists (it's easy to measure, or check from files), but I didn't find any for GTA 1. My guess would be that Superbike is the fastest but is it? How about the sporty cars? Also does the radio channel that starts playing when you enter a car depend on the car type or is it random? This car - the Beast GTS - has a very enjoyable driving style similar to that of the bulldog, but with better top speed. Bulldog - Starting car for the game. I don't know what car this is suppose to be. GTA Wikia says DB7 but it looks like something less-exotic to me. It slides around corners and has decent acceleration. Locust - I have a fondness for the Lotus/Caterham seven cars. They're lightweight, agile, and a pure pleasure to drive. This car is no different in the game. Myni - It's a Morris Minor aka "Mini Cooper". FF. Small. Agile. The perfect vehicle for narrow alleyways and tight roads that the map has. Thanks. :P But what is the formula to calculate the top speed based on these properties? And there are other properties too, such as the "max speed" field in the Specs tab.
