Dear GTAForums Members, I am back with a new concept, which I created with some fellow members on this site.
Today, well I am already working on this from time to time for a few months, I will finally release what we created and thought of.
Enjoy your read and please add ideas for this concept? I will sent them to Rockstargames after a week or so.

I made this thread with help of The7thOne, BitPieStudios and replies from the Proffesional Update thread.

I have had a lot of work in this, so please take your time to read through the post. People who say TL:DR will be reported, because that is just rude. Please stay civil and show me your additions to this concept :-)

Gangs of San Andreas DLC Part I: The Motorcycle Club Update

fmmkhd.jpg

This idea shows Motorcycle Club Downloadable Content which is part of a bigger DLC: Gangs of San Andreas. Most of the items are used in the Grand Theft Auto game: The Lost and Damned. One of the most popular gang styles in GTA Online is the Motorcycle Club. A lot of crews are trying to impersonate a rival gang of the LOST MC or Angels of Death MC.
Because of all this, we want to show you how we envision a DLC for Motorcycle clubs. The DLC features weapons, vehicles, clothing items and new missions/minigames. GTA Online would be much more immersive when this is implemented.

Let me start off with clothing items.

Grand Theft Auto Online features quite a lot of clothing items, however, none suits the Biker culture.
All clothing should be mostly the same for both Male as female characters.

Upper body clothing items:

Here are the suggestions which could be implemented in the game:
- Leather/Denim MC Vests (sleeveless).
- Leather/Denim MC Jackets.

Both the Vests and Jackets are available in multiple colors and can have a large crew emblem on the back.

The must have colors exists from:
- Black
- Grey
- Greyish Blue
- White
- Dark Grey
- Brown
- Dark Brown

Each jacket/vest has these options:
- Patch on the chest
Choose text option: President, Vice President, Road Captain, Sgt at Arms, Patch member or crew rank.
Choose side option: option to choose right chest or left chest.
- Patch Rockers
Choose text option: Crew Name or one of the GTA Brands, like Sprunk, Pisswasser and Redwood.
Choose side option: Lower left side or lower right side.

One of the main features of this add on, should be that MC crews can have similar outfits, while still holding on to their own styles. Biker MC’s in real life feature this too. Members can mostly choose their own clothing style, but they should always wear their vests/jackets with the MC emblem.
This leads to the question: What can one wear under the Jackets or Vests?
- T-shirt
- Shirt
- Hoodie
- Track Jackets
- Vest shirts
- Hopefully more

The helmets in online are all quite similar. MC’s in real life however, have a lot of custom helmets and military styled helmets.

Some examples which we would like to see in the game are:
- WWI German helmet
- WWII German helmet
- WWII/Vietnam USA Helmet (possible Patriot color)
- Scarves (cowboy and biker style) which can be worn in two styles (hide face and around neck).

Gloves:

- Fingerless gloves
- Leather gloves
- Woolen gloves

Trousers:

- Ripped Pants
(addition):
- Chain Right
- Chain Left

Emblems can now be added in more places at the same time.

Weapons (most can be imported from TLaD):

- Pool Cue (TLaD)
- Baseball bat (usable from bike)
- Brass Knuckles
- Pipe Bomb (TLaD)
- Automatic 9mm (TLaD)
- Double barreled Sawn Off Shotgun (TLaD)
- Double barreled Shotgun
- Assault Shotgun #2 (TLaD)
- Grenade Launcher #2 (TLaD)
- Combat Shotgun (TLaD)

- .357 Magnum (revolver)

Vehicles:

- buyable MC van (can put crew emblem on both sides)
- buyable bike: Zombie
- buyable bike: Freeway
- buyable bike: Hellfury
- buyable bike: Diabolus
- buyable bike: Angel
- buyable bike: Wolfsbane
- buyable bike: Wayfarer
- buyable bike: Revenant
- buyable bike: Nightblade
- buyable bike: Lycan
- buyable bike: Innovation
- buyable bike: Deamon (with no LOST emblem)

- Tricycle bike

Customization for vehicles:

-Ability to turn Hakuchou into Hakuchou Custom from GTA TLAD

-Ability to turn Double T into Double T Custom from GTA TLAD

-More customization for Hexer(ability to add saddle bags, sissy bar and ape hanger handlebars, change fuel tank and exhausts...)

-More customization for Sovereign(ability to respray it at LSC,remove saddle bags, removeg the windshield, change seats, change fuel tank...)

-More customization for Innovation(ability to change wheels)

-More customization for Thrust(ability to replace the "robot head" fairing with a classic round headlight like the one on the Sovereign)

-More customization for Daemon(ability to change the color of seats to black and to remove the Lost MC logo from them)

- add side-span to chopper motorcycle.

Additions to the game:

New gang attacks:
- fights with Angels of Death

New missions/minigames:
Drug dealing Minigame with Angels of Death and Lost members:
You have seen it all, you stole meth, cocaine and heroin, but now it’s time to sell it! You pick up the “goods” at a storehouse and then drive to various places and sell the drugs. Police can sometimes arrive, gangs can try to steal it and more. Then you have to deliver the bag with money back to the storehouse. Finishing this minigame grants 5K to 10K each participant per drug deal. You can make a maximum of 5 drug deals but can always end the minigame by going back to the storehouse.

Meth making Minigame:
In the back of a Van, one or two players have to push the right buttons/point stick in right direction and the other players have to protect them from harm. The Van can also be driven, which makes the minigame harder. Finishing this mini game grants a minimum of 10K each participant.

Interiors:

(biker) bars which features:
- Pool (GTA IV/TLaD)
- Arm wrestling (in the game)
- Hi-Lo card game (TLaD)
- Darts (in the game)
Fight Club where you can participate to fight or place bets.

Hair Styles:

- Any hair style (and future hair styles) for both Males as Females now has 3 options, you can change the length of the hair (just like in a lot of RPGs):
- Short (style it is now)
- Medium (25% longer hair
- Long (50% longer hair)

- All of Trevor's hair styles will be added in the game

- Beard styles:
- Forester Beard

- ZZ Top Beard
- All of Trevor's beard styles will be added in the game

- Mohawks

Also the hairstyle menu will be changed. First you can choice which hairstyle you want, then color, then length. This will decrease the long scroll through the menus a lot. (ALREADY DONE BY ROCKSTAR IN LAST UPDATE!)

Gangs of San Andreas DLC Part II: The Street Life Update

28jcjus.jpg

This idea shows Street Life Downloadable Content which is part of a bigger DLC: Gangs of San Andreas. Most of the items are used in the Grand Theft Auto game: GTA IV and GTA V. A style which has been requested a lot is the clothing style of the Lowlife in the street. Players want to impersonate one of the gangs of San Andreas, like the Ballas, Vagos and Families.
Because of all this, we want to show you how we envision a DLC for Street Life. The DLC features weapons, vehicles, clothing items and new missions/minigames. GTA Online would be much more immersive when this is implemented.

Let me start off with clothing items.

Grand Theft Auto Online features quite a lot of clothing items, however, none really suit the low life culture.

Players can now wear the clothing items which are also used by the following gangs. If the player is wearing the color of the gang, he will not be attacked until he attacks one of the gang members of that gang. (You will not auto aim on the gang, while wearing their colored clothing items. (not working in missions!)
- Families (Green)
- Ballas (Purple)
- Vagos (yellow)
- Triads
- Varrios Los Aztecas (Turquoise)
- Kkangpae (Blue)
- Marabunta Grande (Blue)

Players can now buy most of the clothing items these gangs wear. The clothing can be bought in a few colors including Crew Color.

- Bandana’s which can be worn to hide face. These bandana’s should be able to be worn with other headgear. These can be worn in two styles. Around the neck and hide face.

Weapons:

AK 74 U (used by gangmembers)
TEC9 (Dual wield option) (SMG)
M-16 (Assault Rifle) (used by Military and Noose)
M60 (Heavy Machine Gun) (used by Military)
Colt 9mm SMG
Colt C7 (Assault Rifle)
Chainsaw (cartels)
Katana (because of Triads etc.)

Vehicles:

Low riders. Including music minigame from San Andreas.
Donks
Sedan 4 doors (late 80s - 90s)

van with sliding door, good for drive-by.
- NEED MORE VEHICLES HERE!!! -

Additions to the game:

New missions/minigames:
Gang Wars:
- You get hired by one of the gangs to kill a few members from the other gangs.
- You get hired by one of the gangs to capture a high ranking member and kidnap him.
- You get hired by one of the gangs to steal the drugs/moneybag.
- You get hired by one of the gangs to destroy the trucks with special cargo.

Gang Hideout:
Working the same as gang attacks, now you have to fight your way into the enemy stronghold, and then finish the objective:
- Kill all enemies in the stronghold.
- Defend the stronghold against enemy reinforcements.
- Plant bomb and get out.

Gang Territories:
If you click Y when prompted to do so when you are standing at a gang territory sign, you will start taking over the territory. Now tens of enemies will rain down and attack you mercilessly like a survival. Hold your ground and after a while you have succeeded. You can then only do the gang territory again if you switch to a new session. Completing all territories in one session will grant you a lot of RP and Money.
Everyone who participated in the attack will have finished the territory for this session and get a reward.

Drug dealing Minigame on the streets:
You have seen it all, you stole meth, cocaine and heroin, but now it’s time to sell it! You pick up the “goods” at a storehouse and then drive to various places and sell the drugs. Police can sometimes arrive, gangs can try to steal it and more. Then you have to deliver the bag with money back to the storehouse. Finishing this minigame grants 5K to 10K each participant per drug deal. You can make a maximum of 5 drug deals but can always end the minigame by going back to the storehouse.
Also drug addicts can try to steal it. Don't shoot them, you just have to tackle them. However the new Free Running option will make these chases much more exciting!

Free Running:

New free running options are available. More ladders, boxes next to houses and other stuff to climb up to are now added. This means you can access a lot more rooftops. Also tapping the running button at an edge will make you do a leap instead of a jump down.

Burglary:
Access houses and steal their contents, works like robbing stores.
Stealing:
You can now also steal peoples ID's and mug them for quick money, without killing. You can also intimidate people who try to call the police (you will see a warning above their head).
ID's are collectibles which can lead to new tattoos or RP.

Option how to hold your pistol(s)/smg(s)/Shotgun(s):
- Single Wield (Normal Damage)

- Single Wield Street (Lower Damage, Higher XP)
- Dual Wield (Double Damage, decreased distance)
- Dual Wield Street (150% Damage, decreased distance, Higher XP)

Option to choose fighting style (no change in damage or speed etc., just animation):
- Normal
- Martial Arts

Run and shoot at the same time (Holding Left Trigger and run, you can shoot with Right Trigger). Your accuracy drops a lot though.
Dive (like in Max Payne 3) by holding right thumbstick while running/jogging. Time is slowed down around you, like in Max Payne 3.

Interiors:

- some warehouses/slaughterhouses are now accessible, these are used in the new gangwars and in freemode they feature gang attacks.
- some houses in suburbs are now accessible. You can steal from this house (open cabinets etc.) when the homeowner sees you, the police will be called (3 star wanted level). pay outs can be up to 5K, but should mostly be around 1K or less.

Hair Styles:

- All of Franklin's hair styles will be added in the game

- All of Franklin's beard styles will be added in the game

Gangs of San Andreas DLC Part III: The Professional Update

proupdate_zpsd13b1df6.jpg
*As many of you probably already know, this is the exact same update as I made in another thread. However, after a short thought, I think this should also be included in one of the update parts.*
The professional update will be an update which gives the game optional harder gameplay and gamemodes. Also it will feature new weapons, a few new options for the player and a new weapon wheel to get rid of all the unused weapons.

New gamemodes (Each mission or gametype started from a certain freemode is in the mode from freemode):
- Professional Freemode (1.5x RP/Cash)
- Hardcore Freemode (1.5x RP/Cash)
- Professional Hardcore Freemode (2x RP/Cash)

New Features (quick list):
Limited amount of weapons carrying (Professional only)
Limited amount of ammunition carrying (Professional only)
Trunk/ call weapon Van
Npc's aim accordingly to their status. (Professional/Hardcore only)
New armor types
Sp accidents
NEW Weapon Wheel
Dual wield pistols/some smgs)
New weapons + attachements
Prone and crouch option
New units in police/merryweather like Riotshield squads, juggernauts and IAA/FIB special units.

The features explained:

Lets start off with the new feature of Weapon Carrying:

A player starts off with the possibility to carry only one primary/heavy weapons, one secondary weapon. one melee and 5 throwables. Weapons are shown in holsters.
- Primary (Rifles, Sniper, SMG (except Uzi), MG, Shotgun)
- Secondary (Pistol, Uzi)
- Heavy (special)

At certain levels your character unlocks more slots to carry weapons; it should be something like the following:
Level 20, + 5 throwables
Level 40, a player can carry one EXTRA sidearm, also use it to dualwield. This can be the same weapon or another sidearm.
Level 60, + 10 throwables
Level 80, a player can carry one EXTRA primary or heavy weapon.
Level 100, + 15 throwables
Level 120, a player can carry two extra sidearms (holsters under shoulder)
Level 140, + 15 throwables
Level 160, one EXTRA primary or heavy weapon

Ammunition:

Ammunition is limited to 10 magazines per weapon (NOT weapontype!!!), but can be refilled from the trunk of your/a friend's/ crewmember's car or a weapon Van. Ammunition for in the trunk can be bought indefinitely above level 120. This ammunition will be accesible from the trunk of your car for free.

Level 10, + 1 mag max per weapon
Level 30, + 1 mag max per weapon
Level 50, + 1 mag max per weapon
Level 70, + 1 mag max per weapon
Level 90, + 1 mag max per weapon
Level 110, + 1 mag max per weapon
Level 130, + 1 mag max per weapon
Level 150, + 1 mag max per weapon
Level 170, + 1 mag max per weapon
Level 190, + 1 mag max per weapon

This means that at level 190, you have 20 mags (extended) per weapon.

Trunk feature and Weapon Van:

In the trunk of your car you can access all your weapons and ammunition. You can refill your mags here with your bought ammunition. You can modify your bought weapons with bought upgrades here.
You can also access this menu by the trunks of cars of Friends and Crewmembers.

Weapon Van:
You can call up Lester for a Weapon Van, here you can BUY upgrades, weapons and ammunition, just like in Ammunation.

Sell feature:

You can sell unwanted weapons and ammunition for 40% of bought price at Ammunation and the Weapon Van. This will make for quick cash and to sell unwanted weapons.

OPTIONAL FEATURE:
Picked up weapons can be sold here too. A player can pick up to 5 weapons in his inventory. You can also place these in your trunk to sell them in bigger quantities.

Npc's Aim accordingly:

Npc aim:
- gangsters, hillbillies, civilians (low)
- police, guards, professionals (medium)
- army, fib, noose (high)

Armor:

Your health cannot increase, but Armor can! Today Ammunation features new types of armor.
- helmets, can save you from accidents and sometimes a headshot. Add more armor to total. (Up to 25% more armor)
- arms and legs, add more armor to total. (Up to 75% more armor)
- Juggernaut suit (1000% armor, 50% slower)

- Crew Emblem option show on armor (none, back, front or both)

Single Player accidents:

One of the features which the Professional update will bring is the accidents from SP. Your car can now be totally wrecked when you have an accident. Wheels can fall off, you can be launched through the window and car damage is just like in SP. However the higher the armor on cars, the less likely this is going to happen. at 100% armor there is no chance of being thrown through the windshield.

New Weapon wheel + Visible Holsters:

Unwanted weapons, players are bored by the endless skipping through weapons till you have the right one. Wait no more. You can now Highlight your weapons and toggle their visibility (Out of Professional mode). Highlighted weapons show up in the weapon wheel. Any other weapon can be accessed by the inventory menu or you can switch your highlighted weapons there.
This is limited too the levels used in Professional Freemode. For most people above level 200 there should be no problem. Their most used weapons can be carried on their back and be accessed through the weapon wheel.
Players can also choose to use the old weapon wheel via the start menu.

Change shoulder option:

Another option here is the Change Shoulder Option. Now you can change the way over which shoulder you look.
When aiming you can now change the view from which shoulder with the push of a button.

New weapons:

Well, what is an update concept without new weapons? I personally would like to see some weapons back from previous GTA Games (like the M16/M4/P90) and Max Payne 3 (like the FAL, HK-21 MG and LAW). These weapons should also be used by certain npc's, first to make some variety in cops and enemies, and second to give some new challenges in the game.
- Glock (pistol)
- Sig Sauer P226 (Pistol)
- M&P 9mm (Pistol)
- SIG556 (Assault Rifle)

- FAL (used by Merryweather)
- XM8 rifle (used by Rangers/Marines)
- AR-15 rifle
- flash grenades (used by noose)
- M4 (used by Special forces)
- P90 (used by Noose)
- HK-21 MG (used by professionals)
- LAW (Special)
- Machete (melee)
- Grenade launcher from TBoGT

The new and old weapons will also get some new weapon attachments:
- small grip (current grip)
- medium grip (round stick under barrel)
- large grip (duopod grip (also for snipers))
- lasersight (used by Noose and Special forces)
- grenade launcher for AR
- automatic, semi automatic, burst fire toggle options
- Red dot and Acog sight will zoom in (closer over shoulder) OR sniper like zoom in (change able in start menu) like in Max Payne 3.

- The Pistols will get an increase in damage (except for the AP Pistol)
- SMG's will get higher stun/damage in close range
- MG's will get longer range (a little bit)

Going Prone or Crouch:

What personally bugged me was that you can't really crouch in the game. Also, there wasn't really a need for it because of the auto aim system. However; it can be implemented to work TOGETHER with the auto aim system.
Sneak will be toggled when you click the sneak stick two times quick.
Crouch will be toggled when you click the sneak stick once.
Prone will be toggled when you hold the sneak stick.

The pro's and con's of sneaking will now be for Crouching. Sneaking now gets new pro's and con's.
Sneaking makes you invisible on the radar for people within 150 meters of your location, but you move 50% slower.
Prone makes you invisible on the radar within 150 meters of your location AND people can't auto aim on you. However you can't move, only look around. Accuracy will be highly improved.

New Units:

To give the update some new extra's, the police and merryweather units will be updated with new units.

Police will get a few new units:
Police Snipers: Shoot from Helicopters and roadblocks upon the player.
Riotshield units: These arrive at 4 stars and will use flash grenades on frequent base, they arrive in the Police RIOT.
Juggernaut units: These arrive at 5 stars and sometimes use a minigun, they arrive in the Police RIOT.
FIB special units: They arrive at 4 stars, assisting Noose and Police and use FIB Buffalo's
Military units: They arrive at 5 stars (or maybe a new 6th star). Military will consists from Tanks, Humvees, Trucks filled with Rangers, Marines and normal soldiers.

At 1 star, the police will use batons and stun guns. When the player uses the raise hands animation, he gets arrested and has to pay a fine of $100. If he resists arrest, he will get 2 stars.

Merryweather will sometimes use Juggernaut units in missions and when they are hired to kill a target.

IAA agents: They can be called in by Lester, in unmarked cruisers or Grangers, they will hunt down the target and attack him once.

Added feature by BitPieStudios:

The option to rappel down from any helicopter when you are in the back seats.
The helicopter must be a certain amount of meters from the ground and must be steady.

Added feature by GG14876:

Pedestrians can now report you when you are wanted by the police and act out of the normal. When you are acting normal (not destroying and creating havoc) they won't report you though.

Professional mode will limited the player to carry only some weapons, some ammunition and NPC's act too their status. You get 1.5x the RP and Cash.
Hardcore mode will be just like the normal freemode, but is entirely free aim. However, NPC's act too their status. You get 1.5x the RP and Cash.
Professional Hardcore mode features all of Professional mode and Hardcore mode and is entirely free aim. You get 2x the RP and Cash.

Added feature by The7thOne:

Bandoliers: You can buy pouches, rucksacks and backpacks at the clothing shops. This will increase your carry capacity of ammunition (in normal game mode) and increase the limit of your consumables.

Hair Styles:

- Any hair style now has 3 options, you can change the length of the hair (just like in a lot of RPGs):

- All of Michael's hair styles will be added in the game

- All of Michael's beard styles will be added in the game

I don't know why I think of this, but I could easily imagine the neo-nazi crews rising as they get the German WW2 helmet as the MC Club Update arrives. lmao.

Nice concept though,

I'd prefer the Street Life.

Hmm. well yeah... Neo Nazi crews should be banned instantly IMO. However, those German WW2 helmets are a big part of the biker culture. so it would be sad to leave it out.

Street Life is a good choice, do you have any additions for vehicles for the Street Life? I myself am more interested in the Motorcycle Club update, so I would love to hear some ideas :)

Oh God yes. I would drag my dick through 100 miles of broken glass for that MC update.

Well, not my choice of words, but I am happy you like it xD any additions? :-)

Did you also see the free running option at the Street Life?

Street life needs some work. Especially for guns and cars. Lowriders are good an all but not every gang uses them. Most gang cars are 4 door sedans from the late 80s-90s. Lowriders are more of a drug dealer's ride then a gangbanger's ride. Also there is a severe lack of Donks.

Anyway guns that could be added: M16, M60, Double Barrel Shotgun, IV's combat shotgun.

Also when using a handgun you should have the option to hold it sideways. Also dual wielding could be also cool.

The majority of the cars could be carried over from San Andreas/IV.

I think you covered pretty much everything I'd want in a biker DLC.

Perhaps more beard and hairstyle options? No MC is complete without a dude with a huge bushy beard.

Possibly Piney's Tricycle from Sons of Anarchy as a vehicle? -

The majority of the cars could be carried over from San Andreas/IV.

Those weapons are already in the other updates xD so I will tweak it a bit (move weapon A to B etc.)

The option to hold your gun sideways is a fun option! Will add it!

Dual wielding option is already in the Professional Update.

I will also add the Donks?!

4 door sedans (80s/90s).

thanks for your reply, I wanted to work more on the Street Life, but I just didn't knew any more.. :(

Oh God yes. I would drag my dick through 100 miles of broken glass for that MC update.

Well, not my choice of words, but I am happy you like it xD any additions? :-)

Did you also see the free running option at the Street Life?

I think you covered pretty much everything I'd want in a biker DLC.

Perhaps more beard and hairstyle options? No MC is complete without a dude with a huge bushy beard.

Possibly Piney's Tricycle from Sons of Anarchy as a vehicle? -

piney-bike-$14105057$605.jpg

Yes awesome idea! the Tricycle, I completely forgot about that one!

Beards and longer hair Hell yeah!

I don't know why I think of this, but I could easily imagine the neo-nazi crews rising as they get the German WW2 helmet as the MC Club Update arrives. lmao.

Nice concept though,

I'd prefer the Street Life.

Interesting observation ChrilLe. Neo nazis and skinheads are a fact of life up and down the west coast of the USA. And lets not forget the numerous MCs such as the gypsy jokers and hells angels who spout the same crap.

I changed a few things,

- Moved some things around (like weapons) implied by Silnev. Added M-16, M60, Chainsaw and Katana to Street Life update

- Street Life is now a little bit fuller and has two new features (weapon wield option AND fighting style option).

- Hair styles are all changed. The big change is in the Motorcycle Club Update. This would be the first of the 3 updates. This changes the barber menu drastically. Also adds the option to extend ANY current hairstyle up to 50% longer. Each Update gets an hairstyle update of one main character (MC gets Trevor hairstyles, SL gets Franklin's and P gets Michael's. Any additions for females here? :-)

- Tricycle added in the MC update

- added Donks and Sedans (80s/90s) to SL

more ideas? write them here!

I am going to send it to Rockstar. I think this is also pretty much all the updates the community really wants? Any additions?

A better crew system is general would tie in nicely with this.

Such a "built-on" crew vs crew tournament features, so we can easily set up deathmatches and races with other crews without all the hassle. They could even have a matchmaking for this.

Better crew emblem features, such as ability to resize and reposition it on clothing and vehicles.

Possibility of crew territories, a crew hideout/base. A crew waypoint like in RDR would be good too.

Basically just better crew functionality.

Great work, Ivar :) I'd personally choose the MC update. Memories of TLaD would be great for GTA Online and I think that GTA Online should have different atmospheres in different areas of the map, we definitely need the biker concept to return.

The Professional Update is a close second, though. The options for gunplay are through the roof. The M4, FAL, AK 74U, and P90 are welcome additions to GTA Online. I think we need something new. This is perfect for it.

I really want to answer on this. Mainly because first I had made Crew Territories in the concept. However, I wrote it out.

Why? Well there is the problem of crews having the same hideout. Only option what could work is the option that you have to conquer a hideout with your crew and then claim it as your own for that session. If you switch sessions, you will lose that hideout?

there could be a few hideouts where you could get drunk, watch booty and such. :p Let me know what you think about this idea? Needs a little bit of tweaking but could be used IMO?

I would love to see better crew emblem features, but I understand why they didn't put it in the game. However, they should give us a few more options (at least both sides of a car, roof and such and a combination. However, resize and drag and drop won't be put in, period.

Would be neat to have crew battles. Only two crews could join, no team balancing. that could work? Let me know :)

Thanks brother! I would love to see a lot more weapons in the game. I would love to see weapon balancing like in Max Payne 3. Each weapon was good in its own way. We should have that again.

The Motorcycle update has most of the stuff i want so i voted for that. But the Burglary activitiy of the street life update would be cool as well, i thought it was fun in SA.

So... I'm not really a fan of "MC" or "Gangsta" stuff, but the ideas have content that I find interesting. Here are some of my thoughts...

Brass Knuckles, not Knuckles Brass. (Minor correction)

Auto 9mm: Wouldn't that just be the existing AP Pistol?

Combat Shotgun = Standard Shotgun?

What would the TLAD grenade launcher bring? Isn't it a single shot/reload weapon? Would it have better range than the existing 10-round/reload grenade launcher we have?

A bunch of bikes? I can see why some might like that, but so many seems like a waste. Whatever the best 1~2 will be used all the time while everything else just sits around waiting for some appreciation thread.

"Meth Making minigame"... Overall, it sounds nice, though the guaranteed minimum of 10k seems off (should be random, like normal missions, because sometimes you accidentally make rock candy...). As for you actually "makin' meth", I think it might be better if it was just a "defend the van for X time" and have the van drive off/NPC hijinks that randomly happen to extend the time required. Otherwise I'm sure players will find a great little hiding spot somewhere to stash the van which makes the minigame too easy.

M-16 & M-60: While I would love to have these weapons in the game, I think these might be better suited for the Professionals Update. Swap these with the AK-74U ("all gang" weapon) and Machete (South American/Asian gang weapon) in the Professionals Update.

Vehicles... Take a look at the GTA:SA vehicles. Some nice ones would be the Oceanic, Hermes, Slam Van (GTA:SA's version, not TLAD one).

Add in a gang territory & reputation aspect to the gangbang minigame. Doing these mission should show a movement of green territory taking over purple territory (or whatever). Higher level missions (such as "bomb enemy hideout") are restricted until you "prove" yourself to the gang.

"Sneaking makes you invisible on the radar for people within 150 meters of your location, but you move 50% slower.
Prone makes you invisible on the radar within 150 meters of your location AND people can't auto aim on you. However you can't move, only look around. Accuracy will be highly improved."

150 meters is a long distance and I'm a bit confused by what you mean... Will people at 200 meters be able to see me on radar? What about 100 meters? As it is now, it makes me think that anyone within 150 meters can't see me (huge area) but once they get to 151m, they can spot me. Prone should have some drawbacks such as "slow getting up and down" in order to prevent ... what was it called, dolphin diving? ... from occurring. This is GTA, not COD. As well as negative or no accuracy boost for some weapons (bulky ones, such as grenade launcher, or those without the bipod/grip accessory equipped).

Juggernaut armor seems like a waste even at 300%. It should reduce the actual damage taken as well. Otherwise it's just an extra 5~8 rounds (in my experience with armor). If it can resist 20~30 rounds, then I'd look into it.

As for the police using miniguns, perhaps they would use (really accurate) snipers instead? Having the Juggernaut minigun troops in the air base as an "anti-aircraft" patrol would make more sense.

Getting arrested should be worse than 100$. Maybe if you lost your ammo/weapons, so that there is some actual decision to be made instead of a cheaper, more convenient, Lester call? Perhaps they take you back to the local police station (like a taxi) and you're weaponless for the ride then demand a more significant bribe (>20k).

Technical note: The IAA is technically not supposed to have any operations on home soil. Joining in a huge manhunt would be way too much exposure for them.

Instead, how about the ability to get the IAA to send a special squad after another player. For instance, the IAA sends a very good sniper and a bunch of guys in inconspicuous cars to decoy/trap the player at which point the sniper snipes the specified player (from a helicopter; ground based would be too easy to run-away from). Call it something like "International Fugitive"; Lester makes the IAA think that Player X is a world-renown fugitive criminal who must be brought down quickly.

As for the Hardcore = Free Aim... Well, I don't like it (at least on consoles, PC is pretty much standard). And I'm guessing the >80% of players who use GTA/Assist aiming will be a bit annoyed by it. If Hardcore was instead a set of rules you had to follow, like the whole "Limited ammo/weapons", then it might work better. For example, if hardcore mode had rules like:

  • No respawn/extra lives in missions
  • Enemy respawns >100% more
  • Cops now drive-by at 2 stars (was 5, right?)
  • NPC civilians can report your position to the police (harder to escape, must go where there are few/no people with phones)
  • After missions (or just randomly), the former enemy sends some drive-by cars your way as revenge (perhaps have them also spawn in next mission if you got there through vote screen?)
  • Free Roam respawn times/distances are much greater (perhaps you get picked up by (respawn in) an ambulance and you have to jump out?)
  • Getting shot makes your aim worse

Otherwise the whole Free-Aim = Hardcore mode seems like an extra boost on FA's existing 10%(?) boost to cash/RP without any drawbacks.

Anyway, great idea. Much better detail compared to some of the other "concept" threads that popped up recently.

Anyway, great idea. Much better detail compared to some of the other "concept" threads that popped up recently.

First of all, I am happy you like the concept :)

Well I am happy everyone likes it! :D I have put a lot of work into it and it pays off. :)

On topic:

Thanks for the correction. About the 9mm. It is a similar weapon, but it is different. The more weapons the better right? especially now this update features the drop weapons function ;-)

While both the Combat Shotgun (GTA IV) and the Shotgun (GTA V) are pump action shotguns, they are both very different. You can see it like the difference in Repeaters in Red Dead Redemption. They are all repeaters but have different magazine size, range, spread and damage.

About the TLAD Grenade Launcher. It is a different weapon. Why not add it? Some people might prefer it? :)

About a lot of bikes, there should be more cars and bikes in general. The bikes are already in the engine. it is easy to add xD

I started this idea when the pay outs weren't tweaked. That's why I made it that price. :)

AK-74U is a weapon which is used by special forces through out the world. It is no gangbanger weapon in my opinion :)

I already commented on someone about gang territories. It simply wouldn't work in Online as each server is different and crews would have the same territories. Also I should stay realistic. Rockstar won't add a reputation for a gang. sadly, but true, they already have levels for that.

People who are out of that radius can see you on the minimap. but when they come to close, you disappear. this way you can roughly know where someone is, but don't know it exactly.

Can I ask what dolphin diving means? quickly use that function? please explain :)

The juggernaut armor isn't exactly for deathmatches, but it would work very good for missions. Maybe it would extend your life with 300%, and your refill life to 200%. so you really have something strong? However, a shotgun in the head would still be fairly dangerous (DUH)

we already have snipers in helicopters. Juggernauts would be a new hard enemy which would change the game drastically. People in tanks could have a big problem when they see 4 juggernauts. When you are behind cover though, you have more chance...

Your idea for the IAA is a nice one. but we already have something like this (mercenaries from Merryweather). Maybe that you will instantly have 5 stars? the idea of unmarked cars is nice. you will be attacked without a warning.

Hardcore Free Aim is just one of the modes. People now can CHOOSE what they want. you don't like it? don't play it. Simple as that. just like in Red Dead Redemption.

Your idea of people reporting you to the police is a nice feature. I like that feature in Watch_Dogs. You thought the police in GTA V was hard... try playing that game in Realistic mode... xD

I think that when you are playing in free aim you should be rewarded way more. I personally don't play on free aim, but I think they should have the right on a higher pay out (both dollars as RP)

[snip]

[snip]

Well, I haven't played TLAD or RDR, so I'm can't say I'm familiar with the specific differences. As for differences in range, R* really needs to implement something other than what is currently used. (Rifles + MGs* have the same long range, Pistols and SMGs are a bit shorter, shotguns are point-blank. No range difference between individual weapons in a given category, *except for the Gusenburg Sweeper, which uses the SMG range...)

Even though the AK-74U is used by Spec Ops, it looks like it's only used in former USSR nations. Since SA is supposed to be in the US, an M16 derivative might be better. Perhaps the M213 FPW, the Colt 9mm SMG or the XM8 Compact Carbine? The main reason I thought it would be used by gangbangers is that it would be imported from overseas (by mafia in the former USSR) and be relatively cheap and plentiful. I could definitely see gangbangers using them (or trying to, at least) as drive-by weapons.

As for gang territories, it doesn't have to be anything permanent (and definitely not Crew owned). Perhaps after 1, 2, 5, 10, 15... territories captured in a single session, that gang gives you some stuff (ammo, money, maybe high-reward missions?) and for taking over 100, 200, 500, 1000... territories total, you get some bonuses like "call for gang backup" or "gangmember lapdance" or, even better, access to some unique gang-specific weapon and missions. Think of them as large-scale gang attacks.

Dolphin diving (at least, that's what I think it was called) consisted of running, jumping and going prone all in a very short period. It gave you the ability to cover ground really fast, be hard to hit (running & jumping wasn't as crappy as in this game) and then be able to hit back really accurately. Sort of like how people do that whole roll, shoot, roll... in GTA Aim sessions.

As for Juggernaut armor, I wasn't even thinking about DMs when I mentioned improving it. I was thinking about all those missions where the enemy seems to get a period of 0 reload time and just gives me a hail of bullets to the face.

We don't have actual snipers in helicopters, just guys with carbines/DMRs. I'm thinking actual snipers in prone positions off to the sides on roadblocks, equipped with Combat Snipers and ready to repaint the inside of your car. You could also put them in helicopters in a way similar to how you have separate helicopters for SWAT drop-offs now.

Juggernauts with miniguns just seems to be too weak for what they are. That is, Tanks aren't going to have any issue with them (cannon, run over, bulletproof), aircraft will just pull up (or missile) and (super)cars will dodge/avoid where they are (or run them over). If you're on foot with 5 stars, I think you'd be more worried about the cops just running you over. If they were able to use the LAW, Grenade Launchers, Minigun and M60 (and any heat seeking/target locking missile that comes up), as well as be able to switch between them, then they might be more powerful. Even still, normal cops just don't have that sort of equipment at all; only the military and bomb squads in certain areas... Maybe if the gangs had more explosives...

As for the IAA suggestion, while it would be similar to the Merryweather, it focuses on a different aspect. Merryweather just tries an obvious brute force approach; the IAA will try to make it look like an "accident". For example, you're driving on a road, an oncoming NPC runs into you head on. You think "damn NPCs!" when another NPC rear ends you and forces you off the road while a black helicopter you hadn't seen before lines up a great shot and the car NPCs equip their guns to make it look like a traffic accident gone south. It also has the effect of causing paranoia, as when random NPCs act erratically, you might think the IAA is after you. And I don't just mean unmarked cars; I mean they'd use cars that are expected to spawn normally and with "standard" random paint jobs. So if your spawns are Reginas, Buffalos and Sultans, the IAA will use those in colors you'd expect them to have. Oh, and to quote yourself... The idea of "The more weapons the better right?" can be applied. Heck, just imagine the look on someone's face when they get Merryweather and IAA after them at the same time.

As for the choice of Free Aim, while I agree, people are going to complain a lot. You know how people complained about Flight School being too hard? I'm guessing there will be just as much noise if Hardcore meant Free Aim only. I also have this issue with it being called Hardcore mode if it's just Free-Aim... Hardcore should imply something really difficult/different.

But anyway... Good job.

Im all for it and theres a lot of thought and creativity here but it just wont happen.

For the same reason theres no children avatars in Gta or any schools.

Society does not want it so rockstar isnt going to rock the boat and deal with society telling people Rock star promotes gang violence and gang mentality with their video games.

Have you not noticed the lack of color coordinated bandanas and such?.

Its not coming until modern society gets over this gang obsession. Imo

Motorcycle Club and Street Gang, we've already got way too much stuff that applies to professional bank robbers, considering that we can't rob banks.
