Do you think in addition to multiple car variants, should Rockstar have had multiple generation vehicles as well? An example is the Benefactor Schafter, in particular the one featured in IV and TLAD and the new one introduced in TBOGT? I am wondering why Rockstar never carried it through in V.

Yes. I wish GTA V had the slick and sexy GTA IV Feltzer as the GTA V one is ugly as f*ck. Same with the Coquette.

 

Not just different configurations between sedans, wagons etc, but multiple vehicle generations too.

I'm all for vehicle variants. I would love to see the Buffalo (the older version) without those sporty looking bumpers. So far, it's only possible in GTA V with either glitches or mods.
