Which current gen console for GTA?

It doesn't really matter which console as V will look the same on both.

 

It's personal preference really. If you had a PS3 and liked what they had to offer go with that. If you're a Xbox man roll with that instead. The differences between the two are marginal at best, not noticeable at all at worst.

Best advise I could give you is make up you're own mind, don't listen to anyone's opinions, even mine. It's a big purchase and you don't want to regret making it later so do you're research and come to your own conclusion.

I've got an xbox one because of my friends. Always had xbox so no reason to change now. Also xbox one is already capable of playing 4k games whereas the ps4 isnt, but those are a long way off yet.

I wish they were both backwards compatible. i'd probably go xbox one if i upgraded. I mainly bought a PS3 for the blu-ray and i like the xbox environment and controller better. I only have 2 ps3 games so i'd ditch the ps3 games, keep the 360 games and sell both systems and get the xb1. but of course they aren't backwards compatible, ugh.

Too early in new gens lifetime for me to give an EDUCATED opinion.

I will always be 360 over PS3 and it is what it is. Until I can get my hands on both new systems, I, nor anyone who hasn't experienced both, really doesn't have a leg to stand on behind the 2 cents he/she figured was worth spitting.

I'm tried of being stuck with my dieing 7 1/2yr 360 I had since launch.

And yes I've played with both for a 2 week stretch each, and honestly, since I don't care about cable integration or other things that my tablet/phone/PSP/3DS/PC can do, I would go for the PS4.

Now with that said, if you care about what was listed above, than the XB1 would be perfect.

Just pick which ever one has what you want.

I'm switching from xbox 360 to PS4. Literally all the games I want (other than GTA 5) are exclusives to it, sadly this means I have to abandon all my friends since they all chose the xbone.

PS1 and PS2 will always have a special place in my heart, but I've gotten so used to the 360 and maxed out my friends list so I ended up getting an XB1. I love the controller, the online service is great, and I know that PS has better specs, but my console runs extremely smooth and the games look beautiful, I don't think causal games would notice any difference.

I think I'll stick with ps4 due to familiarity with the controller and friends list - my IRL friends don't really game much. Thanks again :-)

I don't pay much attention to what performs better, I'm just a PS fan.

 

sidenote:

 

the last Halo game i played was Halo 2. i just started playing Destiny, & it feels like I'm playing "Halo 3."

 

it's not as great as Halo, but I'm sure it would soften the blow you're gonna take if you're going from XB to PS.
