Hi all,

 

I stumbled across the ruiner during an online session and really enjoyed driving it. Unfortunately I didn't put a tracker on it and make it my own. When I went to try and buy one it isn't listed! Can one only steal this car off the street? If so, can anyone point me in the right direction as I haven't seen one since.

Yea and just drive around in another muscle and sh*t tons of them will spawn and it would help putting a tracker on to.

Nope, can't buy it. Check around La Mesa, as well as around Alta St. and the area west of it. I see them pretty often around there.

One of the more common muscle cars I see on the streets. You should find it in no time

Fortunately (in my opinion) it is currently unable to be purchased off of Southern San Andreas Super Autos. It usually spawns near La Mesa and Davis.

Do any Trevor mission (in the morning/early afternoon) that has you returning to his trailer. You should immediately see a rusty Voodoo. Take that car and drive around and you should see a Ruiner soon enough. I find that driving a rare car causes others to appear.

If you're on 360, they're spawning for me over by Weazel Plaza. I can get you one and hold it if you'd like.

Go to invite only session. Cars cycle through quicker when you are by yourself. Go back and forth between the city and desert so the spawns keep changing. The ruiner will eventually spawn. I own one and is good looker and racer.

It's a underrated car and better than the Phoenix imo. It even got more car mods.

 

But yeah, I always find one driving around Los Santos near the Eclipse Towers/LSC Mod shop. Just gotta drive around and change sessions a lot and one will eventually spawn.

I've had loads of them. I trick them out like Knight Rider then sell when I need cash/space.

Guilty as charged...I just got mine back after a long debate between the Ruiner and the Pheonix and the Ruiner won...just like zQUEENz said...it's just better. And I'm sooo glad the T-tops don't come off anymore. Edited September 17, 2014 by TreFacTor

If you like the Ruiner, you really should do yourself a favor and look for a Phoenix. It's the same car, essentially, except with some minor differences.

Thing is, Phoenix is much harder to find.

 

You can find it mostly down by Simeone's at the dock.

The handling on a Ruiner is more like a sports car, where as the Phoenix handles like it's on ice.

 

The Ruiners great for going off-rader btw, it has the handling and the speed but also blends in to, if you don't mod it too much and keep the paint job modest.

This is the exact way I found both my ruiner and my phoenix.

 

 

 

Also, I noticed it worked much better when my friend spawned into the mission with me, with his supercar.
