Should rally races just be deleted and forgotten about?

I think I played a rally once with someone, and even that didn't count because it was just us vs no one. I've tried to get people to join a rally to see if they're any fun, but no one ever joins, or if they do they exit out before the race.

 

Does anyone here actually do them? Or is it something rockstar should just get rid of all together?

i still have the Metals paint locked because i just cant get no one to race a rally...

 

for some weird reason the other day i was practicing some rally with my bro, he was the co-driver, it was just us. when i finish the race, he told me the "Backseat Driver" Trophy just popped and the metal paints were unlocked.

 

we repeat the process but this time i was the co-driver but nothing happened, no rally trophy or paints.

 

my bro is nothing but a lucky bastard!

 

anyway rallys shouldnt get deleted, they should get some love if R* promote then with a 2X payout event.

No but they should have given a second option for unlocking the metal paints. I unlocked them on my first character without even knowing, and now I can't pay three people to rally race with.

Crossed sabres is right i got it unlocked on first without needing a mic its just that i just can't find anyone who wants to do rally races so i can unlock it on my second.

If no mic is available you can use D-pad arrows for pointing directions..

Join a crew and make some friends and your lobbies will be at max capacity in no time...

It's a requirement to be able to unlock the platinum game trophy, no way they would axe it even though it is a race mode that is barely used.

Should just set up criminal records rally races to get the paint. You don't need arrows or someone telling you when to turn when you're in a giant circle of a track. Only issue is getting enough people to join, but for that, you just need to ninja it to rally before starting (set it to something desirable like GTA Race to lure people in at first). I'm sure enough people will stay for it to count (and even if they leave mid race, the win should still count towards the paints).

It's not really impacting the game negatively, so why should it be removed?

 

I wish Rockstar thought that way before they patched the gate launch glitch and broke their word...
