You still don`t get what exactly bothers me do you? Well read my posts in this thread and you will maybe understand that it doesn`t bothers me if i get a wanted level when i shoot on peds- that was the case in every other GTA game so far.

It is something else that bothers me which happens in V only. But i`m not going to repeat it again since i`ve already wrote it few times.

 

And @vicecitystalker, is this the best you can come up with? A silly, childish, wannabe--funny and hungry-for-likes replies like that are ruing the intelectual aspects of gaming forums. If i`m geting iritated by how often peds are calling cops on me for silly reasons in V, then i should go and play hello kitty according at your wise opinion?

You got all these great realistic looking weapons with all the extra equipment but you really can`t enjoy using them outside of missions because of the harsh wanted level system and agressive cops.

I know R* went for realism in V and that cops are agresive in real life too when after you but this is a GTA game after all and it should be a fun. And it`s not f*cking fun when you need to hide from cops after every shot you fire. Even in IV they spotted you right away when you fired weapon or beat down a ped but in V this is getting very irritating..You can even get a wanted level in the middle of f*cking countryside when you fire a gun at puma. And then you are turning around and you see that f*cking robocop coming out of nowhere.

What`s the point of making a car thieving and people killing video game when wanted level regulations are so harsh? And people are calling cops on you for stupid little things like bumping into them. It`s like they are all f*cking snitches or something.

People don`t call cops on you when you bump into them or tell them they should go f*ck themselves in real life, so whats the point of doing this in a video game.

I didn`t defend them lol, i just think they are one of very few that really know how to make great games.

And no, i don`t find V boring yet, it`s a good game (not my favourite one but still very good) there are just few unpleasant little things like soft, anoyingly sensitive type peds and unfair wanted level system- sometimes. I call it unfair when i try to prevent cougar from attacking me by shooting her first and i get wanted level for that. So i guess i should just wait for cougar to maul me. And that anoying robocops are spawning everywhere, there isn`t one spot in whole map where they don`t spawn.

You mistaken SA for V, that`s happening in V not SA. SA never spawned cops on Mt.Chilliad except if you had wanted level already.

It`s funny how everybody keep wondering wtf is my issue in this game anyway, like i invented some new problem which was not known before but yet i remember a bunch of posts written by gamers who complained about these things when V came out and before i even bought it for myself.

I was testing a 'myth' about the mountain bike that, if you shot it with a heat-seaking missile CJ would get burned. Whenever I fire an RPG the cops start sniffing around my ass.

While I do understand that cops can be a pain in the ass in game, and I do hate when Peds call them when standing too close for mor than 5 seconds what I don't get is why entering the cop cheat is a problem. It takes barely a second to enter it. Woooolah, problem solved. Overall you state that cops are the problem, then you go back and say they aren't. Then you say you have one problem... yes one. WOW.

Honestly though, I've had many kills out in the desert where no cops were called. People who are saying even with a supressor cops are being called is because you killed someone when there was another person in the vicinity, such as around the corner or behind the building. Which is actually legit, a supressor "realisticly" can be heard from within a pretty close proximity, in reality a supressor doesn't really silence the gun completely. So, it's understandable that cops are called most of the time. In my book anyways. Either way I will never understand the mentality that cheat codes take away from the fun.... If they weren't there than I would agree fully that this complaint is a valid point you are making but since there is a cheat code, this entire thread is pointless.... in MY opinion.

I have a feeling you lack the understanding of the fact that being a better gamer means absolutely nothing when it comes to how people feel about the wanted level, or any other aspect of the game. It has nothing to do with why people want it to be changed.

 

"Get over it" is also invalid when talking about a franchise like GTA. Getting over it would imply that it is the past and cannot be changed, but in this case, these are the types of things that fans of the franchise can post feedback about and influence the quality of future releases.

 

Instead of creating arguments, why not change your words to something positive?

ViceCityStalker was just joking. So, no need to get upset.

Not saying your problem isn't important, but the game itself is, what I'd call unfinished, based on the lack of major updates or any plans so far, for SP.

As has been mentioned before, your genuine issue is nothing new to read, as for now.

They could really extend the gameplay with major content and tweaks, later on, along side NG/PC version(s) and once a lot of the details are revealed in coming weeks.

Right now, cops really help to get more creative with the world, which is otherwise totally boring, and bump the difficulty up and add some challenge into the game, to keep coming back for some good old fun.

I suppose, we'll have some news coming soon, to deliver some much needed patching for the single-player game!

This is my point exactly. At least someone who gets my point. I don`t have issues with cops being agressive- if you wouldn`t have a powerfull enemy then game would suck. But it bothers my that anoying and random spawning, wanted level for no reason and when peds calling cops on you for bullsh*t things.

 

As for silencer, it doesn`t mean sh*t if you don`t use proper ammo- and that is subsonic cartridges which will make silencer usefull. If you use a silenced gun with casual ammo, then the silencer will supress the shot sound only for 25-30% thus it will still be very loud.

In V it seems that you`re using some sort of sub-ammo because it`s sound is quite supressed but yet someone can hear you a distance away- in real life when firing subsonic ammo out of decent silencer (not home made crap) and you wouldn`t be able to hear it 10m away.

But cops in GTA seem to have some superficial abilities to manage that- it reminds me on SA where cop could still somehow "hear" your gunshot from silenced pistol.

Such issues can only be resolved with proper feedback support from the players, so they could easily get noticed, not here only!

You should voice yourself more clearly, in a detailed format @ Rockstar support site; just hit them hard enough to draw their attention, and ask them how long this shall continue - the unending wait for the good enough updates of the SP?

When I rampage, I rampage against the cops. Therefore, there can only be one problem with cops: not enough of them to kill.

 

 

Oh yeah? Until the next 2 Police Mavericks spawn 6 seconds after you blow the previous 2 away. V is a scripted mess.

 

I am sitting in my All Proof Rhino Tank blasting the vehicles on the roads, I turn the cannon behind me (whilst 2 seconds prior there was nothing in front of me) and then I turn it back around, there is 3-4 cops cars in front of me again and they already left their vehicle to start shooting at me. Game is pathetically scripted. Don't deny it...

Will you give me a break already with the f*cking cheats lol, i hate them, i`ve never used them i never will. And when i say it ruins your gaming experience i think that in a way that it f*cks up your own efforts to do something. You haven`t done it actually by yourself, the cheats did it 80% for you and with proper cheats any kid can finish the game within 1.st try. Screw that, GTA games are too easy already without the cheats, don`t need them.

The only time i actually thought about getting a f*cking cheat was my 1.st RDR playtrough when you needed to kill a bear with your melee knife for 8.th level of master hunter challenge. That time i was really close to cheat but frotunately i draw myself back and managed it without cheats.

 

@militia, depends on where you are, outside of LS it takes (at least in my case that is) really long time before another hellis and units spawn after i destroyed the first wave. But when a tank spawns you`re a dead man, there is no hide from that turret.

Depends on what kind of cheat codes and when did you use them. If you use "infinite health" or "lower wanted level" cheat in the middle of bank heist mission, then you can`t really say that you did it all by yourself 100%, can you?

 

Now i don`t know what kind of devoted V fanboys are gathering around here but according to your reactions on my topic (in which i only criticised certain aspect of a game not a game overall) you can`t stand a single complain.

In other sections at least they know how to except some critics.

Most of the cheats I use are the Super Jump and Super run. Rarely I ever use the rest of the others such as God Mode and Lower Level Down. Only when I'm testing a new off road truck or anything similar.
