What`s the point of all these weapons if you cannot use them as much a

You got all these great realistic looking weapons with all the extra equipment but you really can`t enjoy using them outside of missions because of the harsh wanted level system and agressive cops.

I know R* went for realism in V and that cops are agresive in real life too when after you but this is a GTA game after all and it should be a fun. And it`s not f*cking fun when you need to hide from cops after every shot you fire. Even in IV they spotted you right away when you fired weapon or beat down a ped but in V this is getting very irritating..You can even get a wanted level in the middle of f*cking countryside when you fire a gun at puma. And then you are turning around and you see that f*cking robocop coming out of nowhere.

What`s the point of making a car thieving and people killing video game when wanted level regulations are so harsh? And people are calling cops on you for stupid little things like bumping into them. It`s like they are all f*cking snitches or something.

People don`t call cops on you when you bump into them or tell them they should go f*ck themselves in real life, so whats the point of doing this in a video game.

That`s a real shame because you can`t even have some fun with all these great weapons without being chased by cops all the time.

I just hope you wont say again that you don`t have this problems because then i`ll really starting to think that my games are bugged with too many cops

Our X-Ray vision appears to be effective!

My friend was in SOCAL on vacations last summer and he said how pleasantly surprised he was by the local police. He said that cops in LA are really nice, honest and helpfull guys. Nothing like ours in Balkan let alone those guys from GTA V.

So shouldn`t R* create a nice cops for once in their next GTA, instead of arogant, loud mouthed, cocky, dumb, corrupt, lazy and evil pigs we used to know from every GTA so far? If you accidently bump a cop car you should get a ticket not a death pursuit like you`re some sort of a terorist.

Get over it.

If you were a better gamer, you wouldn't be worried about the wanted level. Surely the point of using the weapons is to gain a wanted level? YOU HAVE INVENTED A PROBLEM.

I`d like too see you having a rampage in V and not having problems with cops.

This has nothing to do with being a better or worse gamer, i do almost every mission in 1.st - 2.nd try, never ever used 1 cheat, rarely need a ckeckpoint and i do evade cops untill 3- 4 stars(not always though) but it f*cking ruins your fun because you can`t do things like causing a mayhem WITHOUT being chased by cops all the time. Or is it too tough too understand?

And just don`t tell me this is realistic because then i`ll ask you what`s the point of a game that gives you anti-material weapons and combat snipers if they are aiming on realism. I don`t see many people obtaining these kind of weapons in real life too.

When I rampage, I rampage against the cops. Therefore, there can only be one problem with cops: not enough of them to kill.

Well that`s another thing, when i want to have some fun with cops on purpouse i enjoy doing it, but sometimes i just want to have some peace without cops tailing me considering i have wanted level more than 20% of a gameplay i`d like to have some peace here and then..

I don`t have a problem if i kill someone and get a wanted level, that`s ok, it`s realistic and it`s something you can expect. But i do have a problem when a f*cking ped calls a cop on me because i accidently spilled his coffe or when getting a cop on me because i told some fancy douchebag on the beach to go f*ck himslelf after he insulted me (Trevor- somehow people on the beach don`t like him too much).

And that 1 star i got because of the bullsh*t like this ussualy escalates into a full blown war, getting 3, 4 or even 5 stars.

There's a few places where you can have some shootouts with the police, and there's some innocent people so you can have fun with the weapons that way.

If the police were different, less aggressive, that would get moaned about too.

The point of all these weapons is to shoot at the cops that keep getting on you for the menial reasons. Ever think about that?

I didnt have a problem with cops getting called actually, but they are too accurate. In IV i could stop a car in the middle of Star Junction, take cover and have a great shootout, on foot. Doing the same on V gets you killed in seconds.

I though you couldn't get a wanted level for killing an animal in self-defense, well that ins't really our problem have it out with the County Park Rangers.

Two words...... CHEAT CODES

I never ever use cheat codes. I actually hate it because it ruins your gaming experience.

No it doesn't.

Just so you know.

The only gripe I have is that you can have a silenced weapon in the middle of the grand senora desert, middle of the night, not another soul in sight except for your next victim and once you shoot and kill them you get a wanted level. It's like the silencers only matter in missions which, I wouldn't be surprised if that was true.

Even though you think "cheating will ruin your gaming experience" what you want is an experience without cops. So, turn autosave off. When you get a wanted level, use the remove wanted level cheat. Boom, problem solved. It's not gonna autosave, just don't save when you're done creating hell. You'd be surprised at how fun cheats ACTUALLY are.

As much as i`m getting irritated by how you get wanted level for a minor bullsh*t and the fact that people call cops on you for stupid things and that cops are surgically accurate with their weapons, i on the other hand have a feeling that when i do want to have a shootout with cops on purpouse- there are not enough of them. Have you noticed that they don`t spawn like in endless waves like they did in previous GTA games? In a good cover you can shoot a bunch of them, shoot down helis and than is like noone else for a few minutes. It takes a time before some more of them spawn again. Even next 2 hellis sometimes don`t spawn for long time. Which is kind of realistic except for the part that one man can kill 100 of them.

But just the same, it`s anoying the way that peds are so f*cking sensitive and you can`t even bump into them without them dialing 911 onto you. You won`t tell me that this actually doesn`t bother you? Because i saw a bunch of threads people complaining about this.

When you`re free roaming and exploring it`s not the problem but when you`re doing some side stuff it`s getting really anoying.

Like people can insult you however they like (when you go as Trevor on Vespucci beach or as Franklin in Paleto bay) but if you insult them back they will call cops on you.

And yeah i got wanted level for shooting on mountain lion. A robocop was near by.

I can`t explain but i simply don`t want to use cheats because then i would have a feeling that i didn`t do things without help. If i would use cheat for lower wanted level then i wouldn`t be satisfied because i didn`t put in any eforts to loose it by myself- no help with cheating.

But when i manage to loose 4 stars by myself because i actually need to think a little and react, then i feel much better. Even if it takes some time and nerves to do that.

besides the problem of the police spawning in middle of the desert if you kill someone with no one else around, the other main problem is the npc's

in gta v if you have a silencer on a gun and you shoot someone. everyone within a 200 feet radius starts running away. its ridiculous especially since the running animation is the same ( they all duck with their hands up and then start running) and its not fun to do rampages and have every one sprint away from you.

it would be nice if we could get more realistic npc reactions to other deaths, like not just all in perfect sync running away, but some maybe running in one direction and other running in another direction. it would make the whole thing feel more chaotic and intense. it would be nice if they start running in any direction even towards you and when they notice the gun they just rush out of your way.

If you use that save editor that's quite popular now, you can just put infinite health on, then you can kill till your heart's content. It's just another option.

How did you guess? :rol:

Yeah well they`r pretty much all the same but luckly they are not as bad as they are in GTA game. Because, god forbid, if the real life cops would be anything like they are in GTA, the world would be really one big terrible place to live in.

The solution to your problem is there. It's not like "beating the dead horse" is going to change it. It's be complained about many times and it's clear R* has no intention on changing it considering the game has been out for a whole year as of today and it has yet to be changed. You don't want cops on you when you rampage peds, yet you explain to me that it wouldn't feel right cause you had to cheat to make the cops disappear... What is the point of this thread then? Maybe I'm just no understanding what you're trying to say, but from what I understood, what you want is quite vague from your point of view.

The cops can really ruin this game sometimes. You're best of maxing out your strength stat (not that it makes much difference) and combating them in an area where they can't come at you from every corner, or use Trevor as he has his special ability.

I think I know however why the wanted system is the way it is. GTA IV NPCs from a good distance away would take several good bullets before going down no matter where you were aiming. Headshots were more likely to be effective the closer the enemy was, but in GTA V the accuracy has been unrealistically increased to the point where you can get a clean headshot on someone from yards away, and this applies to the hostile NOOSE forces that can riddle you with bullets pretty easily from the same distance.

That's just the thing, with both the player and NPCs, the accuracy of their shooting has gone up, while their damage resistance has gone down, and the cops are at a bigger advantage because so many of them spawn at onceWhile you can gun them down pretty quickly, they'll often be way too many of them to take out before they eventually overpower you and gun you down with their RoboCop-style accuracy. GTA IV was at least a fair fight.

If you make your own conclusion like; "you don`t want cops on you when you rampage peds" , then it`s clear you don`t understand what i was trying to say. I explained 2 times already but if you make your own conclusion then i can`t really force you to understand.

If you are having a fun time when peds are calling cops on you for silly things then good for you because i don`t. That`s got nothing to do with regular wanted level for some crime but it`s just pure annoyance just to iritating gamers. (some of us at least)

Don`t even bother.

Well, this issue is really weird for me. Sometimes I get a wanted level with just a few rounds fired, sometimes I can empty several mags without getting a wanted level.

Just 2 weeks ago, I emptied at least 5 whole assault rifle clips, and no cops came after me. I was by a hotel in the west part of LS, close to the beach.

I was even shooting at cars that was passing by.

Guys, you forget that each protagonist has health regen + each of them has Special Ability. They had to make cops stronger otherwise it would be boring to fight them. Sure, they should be fine tuned so they do not get alerted in ridiculous situations or don't go berserk for simply staring at them but it's nice that they are stronger than in previous GTAs.
