Hi all,

 

With the impending release of GTAV for the XBox one I was wondering if any of you, who are currently playing online with the XBox 360, are considering whether it would be worth buying a new console in order to experience the next gen offering.

 

I really enjoy the diveristy of the game and find it very absorbing but would it be any more so on the new console?

 

My question then is, would you shell out your hard earned cash and ditch your 360 for a one? Or are you quite happy to continue as you are?

Sine there won't be any graphical enhancements worth $500,the only reason I see if you really care abot the new cars,songs and kind of stuff.

For now i'll pass but in the future its a 50/50 chance because eventually im gonna buy a XBONE(sometime next year) but not just for only one game.

If you only want to play GTA V, stick with your current console. Only buy the new consoles if you want to play multiple different games. I bought the PS4 recently not for GTA V, but because I thought it was time to upgrade in general.

I would totally pick up Grand Theft Auto V, Metal Gear Solid V Phantom Pain, and Final Fantasy XV for PS4/Xbone. As long you really like the game you are buying, then you should totally buy it. If you are not enjoying the game still, then don't.

Got a deal on a PS4 so i jumped on it. R* announced release date two days after. Pre-ordering my copy this week. Rather excited!

I would totally pick up Grand Theft Auto V, Metal Gear Solid V Phantom Pain, and Final Fantasy XV for PS4/Xbone. As long you really like the game you are buying, then you should totally buy it. If you are not enjoying the game still, then don't.

 

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is my selling point for PS4. This and GTAV right now is the only reason I'm getting one.

Depends on how low XBox One prices dip for Black Friday/after Christmas, if I can get a steal of a deal then I may make the jump, otherwise it's not worth it to me at this point - GTA & FIFA are likely the only games I'd be playing. Had been thinking of going PS4 as it seems superior (not intending to start that debate, just an observation) however most of my friends and coworkers, as well as people I play GTA Online with, are on XBox and have the intention of moving to XBox One.

I gotta get a PS4 some day this fall.

 

I really do look forward to play GTA Online with the current gen hardware. I do highly believe that the world can finally be dynamic and beautiful.

Keep your money for food or other games.

Personally I'd rather wait awhile to see what has actually changed and if those changes justify buying the game again. GTA Online on the PS3 never really gripped me.

May as well answer, yes I do, also a mortgage I live alone, I have a car, Im waiting to see if my application for the rugby world cup next year is a success next month and could end up paying £500.

Back on topic, as I was before:

 

Nearly all the 360 owners I know are buying a PS4 in preference to the Xbox One. The PS4 is the same price as the Xbox One (roughly) and has better hardware, so it's a no-brainer.

I wouldn't buy any console for one game. I bought my console for multiple games.

This is usually how its always done and i could see if GTA V was just now coming out but ive played it since release day and theres just not enough to convince me at the moment to buy a new system+ GTA V again.

Personal opinion presented as fact. For me, more players and a more vibrant world are selling points enough, but I also believe that the new gen version will soon outgrow the 360/PS3 version in terms of features and improvements. As for buying a new console, I finally bought an XB1 last week in anticipation of the first wave of XB1 games that I actually want to play, starting with Destiny, and I'm totally looking forward to GTA new gen.

Honestly I'm not expecting much from Rockstar. They've shown us wildlife, possible jumbo jets, pets etc.. but will they be online?

Not at all. Everyone who can afford a PS4/XBONE will buy one. If I could afford a Lamborghini in real life I would buy one.
