SKIPPED SP AND WENT STRAIGHT TO MP - ADVICE NEEDED PLZ

Hi Guys

I need a bit of advice, and also some reasoning behind the advice given. Firstly, I am new to the gaming world, as I have only recently (2months or so) started playing Xbox again after years. I am completely new to the online world and multiplayer side of gaming. I bought GTA V and completely skipped the single player mode, and headed straight into Online. I am not a bad player, but I am also not the best. Here is my question: Should I even consider playing single player? Perhaps take an hour or 2 of the time I spend online everyday, and spend it in SP? Are there advantages to first doing SP? Really don't want to waste my time in SP if not needed.

SP generally is a good training session for the online component, so doing SP wouldn't hurt.

Playing SP won't give you any advantages in Online as such, aside from general knowledge of the game world and controls etc.

SP is really fun though and I definitely recommend at least trying it out considering you paid for both MP and SP.

In my opinion you're wasting your time in Online, unless you're playing with people you know.

SP does have allot better missions too. Online's missions are really repetative.

MP is set just before the events of SP and if you're going from MP to SP, it may make the story feel awkward. And you'll be familiar with characters that either don't appear until later in SP, or just aren't there at all.

I'm pretty sure Online was delayed to allow people to meet the characters, get used to the world and have some new things introduced by MP's arrival. Playing it the other way around, MP first, negates that. It works better, IMO, going SP to MP.

SP is great if you give it your time plus it a Sequel to GTAO so you will see some characters here and they...anyway, Enjoy playing GTA5 :)

You sir... nah.. you don't even deserve a comment for such behavior. Guess this is why we can't have nice SP in games these days.

Here's your answer OP

This is getting spammy now so time to close.

Thanks.
