For me It's got nothing to do with porn in game but rather the fact they're censoring sh*t in a game for adults - and it's stupid sh*t. It's fine to head shot your friends, but nipples on a stripper 'oh my god'.

 

Just annoys me. Not so much Rockstar, but the people who come up with these stupid ideas in the first place - that nipples are more offensive than setting an NPC on fire and shooting the corpse.

I don't give a sh*t if there is nudity in this game.. its just virtual pixels.

 

My biggest beef is how R* likes to model and show us shriveled up dicks, balls, pubes, etc.. I remember in TLAD they had a scene where you they had a dude with his dick just hanging out and in V they have those f*cking naked rapists .. What the f*cking f*ck, R*?

Back in the day strippers could only show so much, officials could and would get on stage to measure g-strings to make sure they covered enough. Maybe it is a reference to that?

It's not censorship. They havn't censored anything. The only thing R* is guilty of is lazyness.

 

  • The strippers always wear tops when they're out in the hall in story mode.
  • The only time they don't is when they are performing a private dance.
  • In story mode, tops "magically" vannish when the strippers are not on the player's screen before a dance.
  • Online, this "off-screen" moment can't happen as other players can always be there observing.
  • Instead of a workaround, R* said "Oh well, f*ck it, nobody will care that much".

 

The simple fact is, that if it was censorship, the girls at the mansion wouldn't have thier tits out, and the guys up the mountain wouldn't have their wangs hagning out.

 

 

 

I don't like to be a dick, but... just this once: Anyone that thinks this is something to do with censorship, is a f*cking idiot.

Edit: NEVERMIND, I'm an idiot, totally forgot the outfits don't change until you have a private dance.

Why? There's no point in storymode or online where those girls go offscreen and then come back topless.

Because not all players are straight males that want to see boobs when they shower, and because R* know that if there were no bluenips then a bunch of kids would be running around with their tits out, and not all players are straight males who want to see boobs everytime they are with other players online.

 

 

The reason the strippers/player characters are targeted is because that's what you the censorship committee / rating people etc would've seen. I very much doubt they would've hunted out the playboy mansion or a cult in the mountains to check for nudity concerns. The stripper and bath scenes are easily accessible on a regular basis - so they would've need to be cut back first if somebody got their knickers in a twist.

 

That's some nice conjecture you've got there. It's more to do with catering to a majority rather than to a minority. Most adult players don't want to see tits and wangs all over the place just because another player wants to.

 

Don't take this the wrong way either, I'm not among that group - I love boobs, but I have the power of objectiveity.

The only topless Peds I see aren't just freely roaming GTA online? They're at "Hef's Playboy Mansion" yeah, but only roaming (well, err... Running!) the streets if you terrorize them at the mansion.

Yeah I edited my post - I was hoping to get in before you replied.

The big part I was missing is that I'd completely forgot they don't dance topless in SP - it was only in private dances.

 

Shows how often I used it I guess!
