Don't do money glitches myself, but it looks like this would only work on Xbox, since you cant remove the battery from a PS3 controller...

i always remove the battery on my ps3 controller.

when i have to unscrew and open it to fix or clean something.

it's sometimes usefull to switch batteries from older controllers, seems like the most recent ones don't last as long.

either way, i don't care for a money glitch and i doubt this even works, but the cooresponding action for ps3 would be to simply turn off the controller no?

Regardless of whether or not you use a 3rd party PS3 controller that *does* have batteries, to mimic the same thing just play with it wired and then unplug it when the instructions tell you to remove the battery. This causes GTA to throw a wobbly about not finding a controller.

Too slow. See above for the easiest alternative.

all ps3 controllers have battery, it's just inside though. a little gray box with a power cord

Of course we all know that, or how would they work? The instructions are clearly talking about a removable battery, like on Xbox controllers. And before you tell us that you can remove the PS3 battery, don't. It's a silly response and beyond pedantic. You know exactly what the OP is saying in his crap instructions.

Maybe for ps3 users can simply turn off the controller.

Ain't no way I'm unscrewing a controller just to do one glitch with it.

It can take a few seconds to turn the controller off as there's no switch. You need to bring up a system menu and select to turn the controller off, so if it's something that requires you to do it quickly then that won't work, which is why I suggested using the controller wired and then simply unplugging the cable. It doesn't automatically pair unless you press the PS button, so it's the same as turning it off.

I like that idea. Actually I forget about that because I never remember to charge my controller and if I try and play with cord attached it always wiggle while I'm playing and I get the controller disconnected warning screen.. Nice idea

Lol, I see you're one of those who says, "This guy disagrees with me and has given perfectly good reasons to do so. I must therefore suggest that he is full of rage and that I am better than him in all ways."

I was pointing out how stupid your previous posts were and giving relevant information to people who may actually be interested, unlike you who just wants to attempt to troll. You're the one making themself look like a "mindless drone".

Unplug the charge wire from the PS3 to Controller.

However this glitch is for the dumbasses who couldn't get the Push car technique to work. Which was much better and ultimately faster. While pushing the car takes time. So does plugging back in batteries and plugging in charge cables. Not to mention that same dumbass that couldn't get the push car version to work will probably break their controller doing one of the actions required to get the controller to turn off.

you could just use an usb controller which doesn't have a battery in it... Don't open your controller for just that one glitch, those things are tricky to re-assemble if you've never done it before.

my suggestion would be to wait for the next money glich instead ;)

You can do it if you have a wired controller on PS3

I'm trying to help a friend get some money so we tried this but everytime he gets to the blue circle to move the rebel, it stops me from attempting to open the door. Is it patched?
