The_B1u3_Jay
I can't seem to find a full lobby anymore, less people with mics, no one is talking about it anymore. What's going on? I have'nt played GTA O in weeks but it would'nt suprise me if the game is starting to die off. The game is boring enough as it is with its generic "retrieve item" missions, spawn-killing death-matches, and boring free-mode. It doesnt help that all we've been getting is cookie-cutter crap DLC where all we get is over-priced junk and where missions is an after thought. Maybe if DLC focused more on THINGS TO DO instead of THINGS TO BUY, People would'nt get so board of this game. What seems to be the pattern here is people seem to lie low until the new DLC comes out, plays again for the next few weeks, then goes back to whatever they were doing before. tbuckyyy
Not dead, just not as booming as it once was. Hopefully an update will change that soon.
Phantomspirit
We have to admit, this game online was amazing,6 months ago, groundbreaking,we've all had lots of fun,now players are getting bored, you need to play other games as well, last DLC was crap, apart for the better mission payouts, which thank god stopped theRR grinding.Halloween DLC should liven things up,before next gen kicks in.... Feurian42
Its not dead, people just have other stuff to do. Kids are back in school, some are back in college, and don't forget college football and the NFL are back. There is just more to do now than there was in the summer, for some. RavingWithJesus
I find full lobbies all the time but I do find dm's hard to get into. Deathmatches need to be fixed I agree...I'm really tired of seeing all of the RP+RANKUP+$100000000.00 ones. and other custom ones where everyone's unarmed but the person who made it knows where weapons are and just kills everyone. RavingWithJesus
But R* does seem to not give a sh*t about GTAO right now...there's been one update since July...I hope they aren't just going to focus on GTA on Xbox one and PS4...I don't have either and that would be bullsh*t because a lot of people are in the same boat as me there
MadHaTT3R
You all realize that after Jan, we (last gen players) wont be getting any more updates for the title, right? As I said, WE were the Beta for this game. It wont have a hundred glitches, because we sorted that out for em. We developed the micro all the way up to the macro and we're privileged to pay for the opportunity.....and yet there are still people that play "straight", knowing they are getting ****ed

I started to suspect this kind of thing since Hesits were delayed (again) earlier this year and then the sudden announcement of the new gen version of the game. luisniko
GTAO was only awesome when R* made trailer and giving information about it. Once you get your hands on it, it's only like buffed-up GTAIII. Nothing really WOW about it. For example, Rockstar made the character creation sounded nice and innovative while actually it's not more than just a limited piece of design, which they should have implemented usual character creation method instead. ZenJenga
There has been no confirmation that PS3/Xbox would stop getting updates. Only gossip. Don't count your chickens until they're hatched, so to speak. Anyhow, I've yet to find a dead lobby since I first read this thread. I don't know what y'all are talking about. zoobulon
Jedi_n1te
most of my gaming energy has moved towards Watchdogs and retro gaming. It would be nice for them to throw a few new cars our way, maybe a third garage, but it's up to them really. Who's playing Watchdogs? That game was a huge flop. I'm playing Watchdogs I was a bit late to the party and didn't read any reviews, but it's okay, I'm enjoying it. Driving and shooting is nowhere near GTA's level of refinement, but I love me a bit of stealth Destiny and watch dogs both blow, it's gonna be a long wait till the division
Piecekeeper
I would probably still play if I could buy something when I have the money instead of waiting for R* to tell me I can. All my garages are full so I haven't played since the hipster update. Too restricting for a sandbox game. Map littered with properties, can only have two. Such freedom. GTAO is a missed opportunity. Gantons Most Wanted
The small updates are nice to get in terms of cars, guns, clothes etc. but they need to add some new things gameplay wise like - Gang Wars - Businesses (Different to the SP ones with mission strands similar to Vice City) - Multiple Properties (lets face it 2 isn't multiple) - Unlocks for levels higher than 120 - Add more in game interiors to access like Tequila-la, Stadium, Martins Ranch, Police Stations, Hospitals etc. - Some more minigames like Pool, Air Hockey, Bowling - Some more benefits to being in a Crew like more monetary awards for higher the Crew level or being able to sell guns to your Crew members from certain PVs at a discounted price. - Mission Creator added to Content Creator (May not be far off if LTS is next as it seems they are doing them in listed order e.g. we got DM & Races then Capture update next is apparently LTS) - Random Encounters Online with outcomes like in SP which can aid you in the long run or hinder you depending which choice you make. - Gun Deliveries like in GTA IV - Be able to hire Vagos, Families or Lost MC as a cheaper option to Merryweather Mercs - Be able to have Crew NPC's to Call for back up like Dwaynes backup and Terry and Clay options from GTA IV - Truck Hi-Jacking where you take out the driver then load up the cargo and take it back to your HQ (Like Armoured Car and Crate Events) - Add new contacts like Devon Weston, Wei Cheng, Rocco Pelosi, Johnny Klebitz, Packie McCreary etc. with new ones - Mansions - Access to new and old places like Liberty City and North Yankton - Heists Some of those are probably big things but some of the smaller things would just breath some new life into this game it has gone stagnant.
