The only creator extra I'd totally love would be a mission creator. I can see why they wouldn't be possible sometime ago, just imagine all the billionaire payouts for the simplest craps, but now that the payouts have been standardized a mission creator seems a lot more likely.

 

And yes, like it was said on the previous page, I would definitely recreate some movies with it, I have already pretty much thought up almost entirely an Apocalypse Now mission

The reputation that ecb2 has speaks for itself. Knowing him, he only leaked a partial of the DLC that is about to drop. LTS could be a glimpse of what the DLC is holding. Rockstar also knows that they have to drop something big to bring players back who are playing other games right now.

 

Remember that article on R* Support, I dont believe that this is going to be a small update. I think this will be a major drop. The only think that can restore the faith we have/had in R* is heists. They cannot wait any longer or it will cost them dearly.

R* doesn´t have to do anything, they will gather bitch load of money from next gen anyways. Don´t be suprised if 1.17 doesn´t bring new things to the table.

To be honest, I don't except anything major to drop this Tuesday... I won't even be surprised if there's no update at all.

What I'm hoping for is a police update. We could be able to buy police and military uniforms, have the ability to buy any cop car in the game (including the FIB Buffalo and unmarked Police Cruiser), and be able to chase down and arrest players or be bribed. New mechanics such as being able to call for backup or have cops target a specific player could also be added.

I'll take any free content I can get,I even enjoyed Flight School,even though it was limited content-wise.

Maybe more people will play LTS if the next update trully is that... I'd like that since I liked LTS and when people were ACTUALLY playing it.

heists because they promised us and next wendsday its been one year gtao.

 

Casino because it was 2 updates ago found in the ingamefiles(btw that does not mean its "leaked"like in "confirmed to be released ingame since i heard of games that even have everything working after a sertain wallbreach but it just isnt there when just playing the game normal)

 

And hydra and hunter because they were also found in gamefiles

 

Thus the only recent interesting thing besides pure speculation is the 'fact'they founded coding and a sertain part says LTS

This coud refer(its not garantied it stands for anything) to:

-last thursday september

-last team standing

-last test subject

-long therm suport

-laugh to self

-long term solution

-logic timed solution

-large technical system

-load transfer switch

-local testing system

-last test tastistic

-limited time special

And many more

Thus if it stands for anything it coud also be anything from a simple test to time limited content to last team standing missions to large technical maintenance updates

Yeah I know, I'm just sick of the waiting and that the Dlc we do get only lasts about a few hours. I would pay for DLC if it was more than what we are getting. Hype is inevitable. We're talking about Rockstar here, we've marvelled at their creations over the years.

I've been disappointed there hasn't been a more rapid flow of content expansion in the last year, but Next-Gen release will be sure to appease me.

Don't care that much about current-gen anymore.

Seeing the realism, lighting effects and draw distance in the GTA V next-gen trailer has me mesmerised. Not as enjoyable playing current-gen when you see the contrast between the two.

I just hope the rate of DLC proliferates in the following months.

Uh no,you can avoid,I love Rockstar,Rockstar and Kojima Productions are probably the only studios I respect,but I don't hype myself over games,games are supposed to be FUN. So be an adult and think logically. Even people who WORK with games get around without any hype,maybe because they know it's bad.

Rockstar created the hype (to sell their game; it's normal) and if the hype disappointed you many times, why should you get hyped up over and over again on some unofficial confirmations such as leaks, etc?

There will be no advance announcement for 1.17, whenever it may drop because you guys missed the bigger picture.

Valentine's day was announced, no problem

Business was announced, no problem

High Life was announced, delay, delay, delay. The backlash was brutal.

Hipster wasn't announced, no problem.

Independence wasn't announced, no problem.

Flight School was announced, it even had a trailer, considered the worst update ever.

If R* ever announces an update again, it will be because they haven't learned from their past mistakes.

Hang on a moment. You´re right. We need to get something at tuesday or wednesday otherwise it´s going to be a small, really small gap, between haloween update and 1.17 (this update). And we don´t think that R* is going to miss out on a Haloween update do we? So yes, 1.17 is 99% going to come out this month or 1st october.

 

I agree with above, LTS might be a codeword it might not. Last-Tuesday-September maybe. It would though be a shame if heist or something big doesnt come out at 1.17. Remember the news that some ps3 players needs to update their memory drive to be able to play the next update/patch (1.17), I think it´s something big that awaits us. It must be, wouldnt make sense otherwise.

Don't agree with that to be honest. Halloween will likely be a limited time event, not a fully fledged Update. A bit like Christmas, as Halloween comes and and then it goes.

 

They will likely release an Update this Tuesday, then one at the end of October and that will be it until the current gen release.

 

Edit: Just to add on to this, Halloween is what is convincing me a that an Update WILL come out this week. We know how Rockstar likes their dates (Valentines, Independence). They need to release something that will keep players entertained until current gen releases. Halloween will only be a Special like Valentines with limited time items, it's why I think we will get something meaningful like Heists personally.

 

But you know, I'm using logic there and that doesn't always apply with Rockstar.

What if they updated Last Team Standing to be like a search and destroy.

 

Two teams start looking for a laptop that needs to be hacked to either steal or deystroy something.

I think it would be cool to see something like this.

 

I know they have certain team missions where you have to collect the package and bring it somewhere before the other team steals it, but that's not really the same S&D.
