Honestly, they were probably complete months ago, along with the Hydra and the Hunter, but Rockstar has been holding back the good stuff until after Next Gen came out. They didn't want us blowing our wad too early and not buying the new version of their game on PS4/Xbone.

 

 

Anyways, after playing the Raid on Destiny, there is absolutely no way Heists will not disappoint me. The Raid is the futuristic FPS version of what Heists should be. Not that it stops me from playing GTA, just saying that GTA is going to have a difficult time filling in the "well constructed with challenging gameplay requiring expert teamwork" void. I'm mostly excited for the Hydra/Hunter type stuff, as well as whatever Content Creator updates may come, as that is where I believe the success of this game lies. If Rockstar can't create a well balanced capture, chances are they will make some pretty sh*tty Heists. At the end of the day, they will not be what defines this game's awesomeness.

R* keeps releasing more and more pvp jobs even though we already have the content creator. How about release some more missions, because people actually play them the most and we can't create them ourselves. It seriously gives me the vibe that they want us to get bored of the current missions so that we'll earn less GTA cash and end up buying a shark card.

 

I wouldn't rule out the possibility of a mission creator though. The new payout system makes the earned cash mostly just dependent on the time spent on the mission so the payouts would be pretty balanced except for the fact that you could probably make a mission that's incredibly easy and still pays the same.

 

Also I really don't know how has R* managed to screw up the design for so many of the Online jobs.

Then, after so many months, they finally say "coming this Spring".

Without any serious explanation, they decided to delay them even longer.
Now, they say "we'll have news on Heists very soon". It's been two weeks since then...

 

Seriously, I can't understand them.

 

ON TOPIC: The Cops n' Crooks Update sounds plausible, but it seems to be only for PS4/X1, considering that the players involved are more than 16.

Personally, I'll be appeased by this wait for heists if they are as good as the story mode robberies. It might also help if we get some brand new cutscenes where Trevor gets your character into robbing banks and jewelry stores, instead of doing petty jobs. That R* needed a break in Steven Ogg's schedule for his role as Trevor, that would an an acceptable reason that heists have taken so long.
