I could be wrong.

 

But holy crap, doesn't anyone have any patience?

They said next update after release. give it more than a week. Some ppl lost data in the transfer, and the servers are f***ed. Give them (R*) a f***ing minute.

And on PS3, people are losing their license plate, again.

 

 

They can take care money glitch in a matter of minutes, and release it anytime between 24 hours, though. So why not the bugs other than money glitches?

Theres so much crying going on over heists its like watching little kids having a tantrum over not having lollies. Seriously grow up! They will come when they come. If ya all act like this over a meaningless game I hate to see what you do in real life.

Who's crying? All I meant was, the conditions are never going to get better. Each patch brings another set of glitches and bugs. People have been complaining about disconnections and lost data the whole time.

Why try to make the game perfect, only to introduce an update that will likely come with more glitches and bugs. Why not appease the people with the content, and sort out the bugs as they come? It's like making your bed before climbing in at night.. What's the point? Make it in the morning!

 

I've been patient. Anybody who knows my posts will tell you. I'm a voice of reason.. level headed and logical. (I know nothing about game development however)

I am not excusing R* for the delayed release of heists. My patience has run thin as well. I'm strictly talking about the latest mention of heists by Rockstar.

@ Soundism:

Yes, there's been issues all along. However launch issues are different than glitches and bugs. Last year the launch debacle was answered with a stimulus. I don't see them doing that again. But before they add new content it's expected they fix any issues that might prevent anyone from receiving and utilizing said content.

With every patch to fix, they ruin something. Not sure if it's purely intentional or accidental.

 

If it's accidental, then they should have realized that they can't make perfect thing and should just leave it while fixing on the go. If it's intentional, well, they're a dickbag. Still, either way, they're bad.

Gotcha. I see what you mean.

I wonder how current gen launch issues compare to those of the last gen launch. In terms of percentage of players with lost/corrupted save data, that is. It would seem, the current gen's has been smooth by comparison (at least in my own experience).

After GTAO's launch there were 5 updates before any content was added. Can we expect the same this time around? Surely not.

Yep I'm getting impatient.

You all do realise that heists are a criminal act yeah? The way that word gets thrown around here would make you think it was a lovely thing to do!

The term "soon" is widely used in the game industry so it's not just rockstar that have been using it. It's meant to mean sooner rather than later.

Yeah we all know "soon" is relative.. But when it's relative to the radiological break down of uranium we start to question the term when used in context of the gaming industry.

Since 2012 was proven fake, R* feels they have all the time in the world till they deliver on their promises, maybe next year, maybe a decade from now, hell maybe they'll wait it out until anyone who remembers GTA has died and SPRING heists on us like a surprise.

Heists were the selling point? nah, I think most people bought it because it was GTA and it had been a few years since IV.

The posts get deleted, because they're off topic. If you have complaints then take it to the support section. Though admittedly I doubt they'd remove the newswire post if they were applauding R*. It isn't newswire comments it's support threads. Besides it wasn't complaints it's queries/suggestions etc. Well my deleted posts were in support anyway.
