There was talk about the PC version using Denuvo, but then it was denied by a Denuvo co-founder. Still it doesn't rule out that they'd be using some other system.

Hmmm, do you think that PC modding will somehow effect shark card and dlc sales on steam? Because that's the only reason I see them wanting to implementing this.

I don't care about anti-piracy as long as there are digital sales. I just don't want them to prevent me from modding the game. Hopefully R* will at least let us use mods on private servers. Maybe even have a separate sandbox mode for the game that is easy to mod.

well the expected dlc hasn't even been released yet. If people were to mod their own features, what would be the point of the same feature coming from R*? Are they really going to be selling shark cards on the PC version? Surely you could just mod anything you desired, live in any apt / house, make your own jetpack etc. Read dead was never ported to PC, I wonder why.

 

anyways whatever they use can be cracked by someone

Why do people still think R* is going to take a chance at diminishing hype about next gen to satisfy a few old gen players. They don't care about people who already paid, they want more people to buy in. With all the stuff that has shown up in code and not get released, it should be very clear that they are purposely holding back on releasing and more updates. They probably originally intended to release DLC on the respective holidays, but there is no rule book dictating mandatory holiday release for DLC. So when they realized heists would be ready soon, they pushed back all the DLC. I know just a guess

I didn't expect an update today, we just had an awesome one with t-shirts 2 weeks ago. (sarcasm)

 

It would be nice to have heists at some point on current gen but there's no way it will be released before Next Gens released. Even on next gen, they're adding all that launch day bonus so I'm sure they'll space the heists, if ever added, for a later date when people start to lose interest again.

I wish my gut feeling wasn't right about this one. No DLC update this morning. I am not bummed or anything since I stopped giving up all of my hopes. But we did get some back to back weekend event's back in last 2 weeks of October. So I think there is where the sign was. Oh well. I am going back to playing the game.
