Nothing major is coming out on LG, first CG/PC then the watered-down version on LG.

 

The DLC's are just bug-fixes and some content to make us occupied for a while.

I'd take "whining" over repeated senseless arguments in every thread. At least whining is entertaining to watch, people deluding themselves by thinking not having a recent newswire post means something is just plain sad.

One thing I noticed about rockstar is they seem to be beautiful minds under a corporations umbrella. They are probably so far gone due to stock options that they actually believe they are helping us "why deny them the chance to experience purchasing these updated apartments with all new interiors"

To be honest i'm not camping at the store waiting for updates. Im just going to school and when i come back, i look over here. If theres an update im like "oh cool an update" but if theres nothing my life just goes on. By the way about the whining... Keep this going and the thread is gone :]

My friend said he's not going to school tomorrow (Even though it's our senior pictures) and wait for an update, He said it's GOING to be hists and expected all this foolishness.

I speculate they will not release anything further for the PS3 360 version until launch of new gen GTA 5. Why would they encourage players to stay and play on the current consoles. It makes more sense to wait until (re)launch then throw out some DLC so you get as many converts as possible. Giving up heists and other DLC now would keep a lot of players happy for a while. Limiting the amount of people who will switch.

Yeah, they aren't THAT stupid, they know how negative the repercussions of making a stunt like that would be. I'm sure that, at the very least until the release of the next gen and PC remake (And much possibly still months after it), Rockstar will continue to provide us with updates, otherwise they would lose a lot of their fanbase.

 

This isn't EA we're dealing with, guys. They wouldn't take THAT big of a dump on their fans.

You have the conclusion because that's how it has always happened in the past. So it is a conclusion based on a LOGICAL assumption. If they post some nonsense post tonight...we won't get an update tomorrow. If they don't, there will be an update post tomorrow.

This, I think most other marketplace updates were made at least a week before (Not really 100% sure on that though, I think the Independence Day Special was an exception)

Yep next week or the week after. They never update the market place a matter of hours before a drop its normally a week or two before.

Definitely not expecting anything tomorrow, I'd guess on the 30th though, and as much as I'd love it to be Heists, I'd say the chances are pretty slim for that. R* would definitely announce it at least a few weeks in advance if it were Heists.

People are still getting their hopes up. Updates were waaaay better before the leakers started to discover "future" content. Why? Because nobody knew what was coming, and it was a surprise for everyone. Hell, R* even announced them a while before they were going to be released. Now it's a mess. There's a lot of crybabies raging at R* because they didn't drop the update that Cockislive "leaked" in his videos, and R* doesn't even bother to announce the updates anymore, because they want money from Cash Cards.

Well, that's an opinion based on nothing whatsoever, but you're entitled to it. My opinion is based on the observable. All one need do is go back over all the newswire posts and see the amount of time from post to post before an update.

 

I believe the only time it hasn't worked out that way is when they had a double RP, double cash or both week. But that's what we got instead of the update.

 

So we'll see.

Heists will hopefully come next Tuesday/Wednesday and I would have thought we will get a trailer sometime this week. Heists is the big one and they will want to build up the hype again.
