November 11 is also Remembrance Day in other parts of the world. So it would make sense for a military related dlc to be released on or around that date.

 

I doubt it. Too close to the Halloween DLC and the new gen release date.

In regards to a new GTAO traier, that would mean there's a possibility of glimpsing some of the new next-gen vehicles. Including the Dodo Seaplane.

That plane isn't anywhere in the game, and I find it strange that R* had to specify in the name that the Dodo is a seaplane. That would mean that the seaplane Dodo is a variant, just like the Voltic Topless, for example. As a result, there should be a land-based Dodo as well, and from the trailer we know the Seaplane is a high-wing prop plane with a body longer than that of a Mammatus. Could the above plane be a land-going version of the Dodo Seaplane coming on Next-gen and could we expect this one as well?

 

EDIT: The plane is also based on a DeHavilland DHC-2 Beaver. This plane is notable for having a floatplane/seaplane variant as well.

I wonder just how much they improved this.

 

Alter age (that makes a noticeble difference),

Weight (maybe they will put some off those activities like partying, working out to some use),

More hair styles

As long as its not a feature to scan your own face in, for f*cks sake i hope its not face scan.

That'd be character creator, not character selector...

If it turns out to be just a new screen i will not buy it. Im expecting some better customization.

From what I see, the current mp character select screen isn't that bad. Maybe R* mean something else as replacing one menu really isn't a headline feature.

 

Also I expect additional character stuff that would be next gen only to get them upgrades.

Rockstar did say that due to hardware limitation they could only implement the current character selection toolset, so now that they don't have that as an excuse I'm hoping they make our characters more customisable. Like a fat bald Austin powers.

What do you mean by a minor update, one with less things than a normal update (i.e, Valentine's Day and Independence Day) or only a patch update to fix bugs, exploits, etc? Because, if you're assuming it's the latter, I doubt it, it's been a long time since Rockstar released an update like that.

Could be a possibility, considering the Dodo was named after a bird, and many Grumman amphibious planes are names after birds as well (Albatross, Goose)

Heists were in last-gen GTA:O trailer so Rockstar must release them on last-gen.

Although I'm not saying they will not come, saying they MUST release them on LG isn't true. They can just state that they "did not work correctly on the older hardware" or something along those lines. Again, I'm not saying that will happen but just pointing out they don't have to 100% release them on LG.

 

It was an advertised feature so it has to be in the game at some point. Its a bit like if Apple said the next iPad would support split screen multitasking, then after launch stated it couldn't be done "for hardware reasons".

I don't disagree with you, but I'm just saying, there is the possibility they don't work as planned as they got further along and closer to release. I'm not trying to say they will not come at some point, just pointing out there may be a internal bug or something along the line. I honestly DO think they will come out sometime, so don't take this as an argument against you guys, just pointing out a possible reason for them not being here.

 

Also, like Egonga said if they didn't release them it would cause a negative effect on their reputation, and I doubt they want that. I just am playing the Devil's Advocate.

We should be seeing story DLC soon, R* said they would bring it in 2014. Maybe its that Zombie SP DLC that got leaked a few months ago or the Trever DLC that may come out in November or something

The Yoga DLC will have a sh*tty car from SA or IV because nobody's happy with this game, it also comes with a brand new pistol you'll never use so all the unlocks for it are already unlocked!

I speculate that when PS4 and Xbox One versions drop for sale we receive SP story update! Why I think this way is because GTA IV came in 2008 and The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony came in 2009. So we need to buy a new copy for GTA V and I think it will include SP update because there is no sense in buying GTA V first and then some SP DLC.
