And apologies for the lack of knowledge, but which of the Hunter / Hydra is the one that was "shown" in the trailer?

 

The Hydra was shown in the first trailer while the Hunter was shown in that in game move trailer!

 

Edit: After looking at the trailers again, you can see the Hydra more clearer in the second trailer!

i hate to be that one guy again in the many times that i am that guy, but it cant be confirmed that that jet is a hydra, especially when gta v's beta never mentions a hydra

Am I the only one who cares about the hunter more than the Hydra? I mean, the Hydra is cool and all, but besides the VTOL it will practically be the same as the Lazer, where as the Hunter is in a completely different league from say the Buzzard. Especially if the co pilot operates the 30mm's.

Good Guy henriquedematos. I don't get fighter jets for fun, I do it for the flying, not the killing you could be doing, I'm innocent!

 

Please, besides the fact that nobody cares whether or not we get another fighter jet, the last thing you need to reason is that "you will be of no harm to players". You're avoiding killing people in a game about killing people! How saintly. Like I said, throw in as many attack vehicles as you can R*. If they just threw in a stinger type rocket launcher, everything would be 100% fair.

This. We do need some anti-aircraft armament, that would definitely make things a lot more even. Like I once said in a concept thread, I believe that adding the cut XM25-like launcher would be probably make it the most efficient weapon against aircraft:

 

 

And since I've detected a notable amount of sarcasm in your response, yes, I do fly fighter jets mostly for the thrill (HIGHWAY TO THE DANGERZOOOOONE). Unless if I'm provoked, I don't attack anyone with them

I'm going to be slightly pissed if this doesn't happen. A 30mm cannon with explosive rounds like the ones in the Lazer, for co-pilot use (And maybe only capable of firing in slow bursts so it isn't completely op), would make it beyond perfect. Edited October 9, 2014 by henriquedematos

I think we will see another next gen trailer soon, but for online showing first person view, new character customization etc. I think we will see Halloween DLC this month as well. I think the new next gen trailer should be here within the next 3 weeks

Only if it's ACTUALLY released can it be believable to assume it's coming.

 

Any anti-aircraft would be sick as hell. It would create more missions where players can verus aircraft without having to be a good sniper, not that my sniping is at all an issue, but like making it GTA insane, aka instead of two helicopters in a survival you could have eight. Of course they shouldn't always hit, it should depend on how good the pilot is. More then possible to do and look forward to it.

 

.............there's two spots left in the weapons area in ammu-nation. Are you assuming over the next four years that GTA's life cycle continues that we will get only two more weapons? Of course not, hopefully we will get more and more as the game progresses, there's so many things they could do and if they don't go a certain level I'll be well disappointed.

 

It would be simple to change the menu/interior.
