think of it this way: rockstar has never added an armed vehicle through an update

name a game in the past 10 years outside of the gta franchise, that has a giant sandbox freeroam, and would feature a harrier?

people are like

go play a military game

you'd be lucky to find a harrier in some triple a military game that can be utilized as a vehicle

but in a sandbox game, where you can roam around f"cking up a city, where it would be orgasmic, its even fewer

Yes, it's available for free - Whether from anywhere else or from him. You're talking like we have to pay to watch his videos or something, but you don't have to, he's pretty much just offering you a free round up of current stuff. I still don't get what's wrong with posting news, not everyone browses the forums or other websites where leaks are posted. And just because he isn't the person who makes the news, you claim he's making "loadsa money off other people's work/effort"? I don't think you understand much about journalism if that's the case. And he does give credit to the original leakers, for the matter.

 

 

I think its mainly they are jealous that they cant get the viewer numbers or invites to Rockstar events. Some of them just jump on the Hate Train because it seems like the popular thing to do here.

I have zero doubt that most people that post their hatred of him and other youtubers here, are the ones that never miss a video. If you haters dont like them, dont watch them, and dont post

about them. That only encourages people that havent heard of them to go to their channel.

 

You haters are their greatest advertisers.

I don't think YOU understand much about journalism if you're willing to credit these hacks w/such a label. They're parasites. Which in fairness so too are a lot of other traditional journalists, but it doesn't excuse them or you for that matter. They're making money because you're too lazy to click a few extra links/pages/buttons/read for yourself something that someone else has spent their time & energy on uncovering. So he gives 'credit'?! Well, this really isn't the adequate thread for this, maybe we should move this discussion to the YouTuber-related one, but meanwhile I'll reply here:

 

What is wrong with that? Isn't said person who published the leak/theory/etc. going to be receiving the recognition for his work either way? YouTubers like Dom are pretty much only spreading the word about the work, they aren't taking anything from the person. I don't think someone is "lazy" because they've heard about a leak in DomisLive's channel instead of a forum, it's frankly stupid to condemn someone for that.

 

I keep my statement that a lot of the hate Dom gets, like you just expressed in your post, is completely irrational. I can see some reasons to dislike his videos, but telling the news to the masses shouldn't be one, at least not from my point of view.

I just dismay at what has become of video game culture & the low life's that profiteer from it. They're bottom feeders who contribute nothing & only take advantage. Back on topic, the Hydra I don't care about, the buzzard controls aren't bad, everyone sucks at using them so now everyone wants a floating tank.

 

I would like the NOOSE Tank to return from TBoGT, it's not as strong as the rhino but cool nonetheless.

Idk why they don't add more clothing to Singleplayer, there's a lot of things that need to be added like t-shirts for Franklin's jackets.

I can't stand that guy, I think he is a clown. He always hypes up his speculations and gets everybody excited..then he, as he always is, misleads people and the world goes Bat****. Not to mention he, and every other Youtuber always beg for likes.

I think this is where we part different ways and close this short debate on agreeing on disagreeing. You think publishing news about a subject and getting money from it is a horrible thing, I think it is perfectly normal. He is a player, like us, who likes to gather up and publish information about the game we love, and earns a buck by doing so. I got nothing to hate on that, especially when it's not our bucks that are getting out of our pockets for his profit.

On thread: I'm also not the biggest fan of military stuff, but I'm interested in an army-based update nonetheless. It feels like the logical thing to add at this point.

I'm sure the majority are just worried about balancing issues, as in, being able to call Pegasus in an instant for a jet that has twin-fired missiles, flares and VTOL capabilities. Get blown up? Call for another one. I can understand that point of view. But people who's only opinion is "play a military game if you want military vehicles" must have not played any GTA before IV. San Andreas was loaded with military vehicles, and even Vice City had a Hunter attack helicopter, Rhino tank, military Patriot (Humvee), etc.. The protagonists having access to military ordinance has always been apart of the series.

 

Personally, I'd like for the Hydra and Hunter to be added at some point here. Do people not want anything more exciting than clothing packs and reskinned weapons being added? Because this game has a lot more potential than that.

Good Guy henriquedematos. I don't get fighter jets for fun, I do it for the flying, not the killing you could be doing, I'm innocent!

 

Please, besides the fact that nobody cares whether or not we get another fighter jet, the last thing you need to reason is that "you will be of no harm to players". You're avoiding killing people in a game about killing people! How saintly. Like I said, throw in as many attack vehicles as you can R*. If they just threw in a stinger type rocket launcher, everything would be 100% fair.

Am I the only one who cares about the hunter more than the Hydra? I mean, the Hydra is cool and all, but besides the VTOL it will practically be the same as the Lazer, where as the Hunter is in a completely different league from say the Buzzard. Especially if the co pilot operates the 30mm's.

for now lets forget about the hydra. what weapon do you guys expect to see in the halloween update? since it'll be a temporary update, due to it being a holiday, i bet we'll be receiving one weapon, not two (firework launcher was more of a toy than a weapon, and wasnt supposed to be permanent). i have a strong feeling that we'll be getting a new melee weapon. since the flamethrower and chainsaw seem to be out of the question in the HD era, i feel that we'll get a machete or maybe even an axe. guns wouldnt make sense during halloween.

I kinda wouldn't want them to add a purchasable fighter jet as GTA Online can often be quite the warzone already. Well I regardless can't help, but to be excited to fly it and it seems likely to happen.

 

And I remember there being some files suggesting an option to save your own outfits which for me would be a very useful feature as I have switched up between multiple themes.

 

And regarding the potential Halloween update, maybe some serial killer/manhuntesque stuff?

Regardless of the fact that the slots are almost full, the code shows a sh*tload more weapons coming, than are available now, not to mention with Special Edition they're like 2 weapons away from being full, so I highly doubt that's the case.

I just think that Pegasus is a too easy way to obtain Tanks and potentially the Hydra. The tank imo should have always been stealable only like the Lazer jet.

Tanks should be purchasable but only spawns near the Military base. Not in the city, not on the beach, just near the Military base.

 

And apologies for the lack of knowledge, but which of the Hunter / Hydra is the one that was "shown" in the trailer?
