cannot play online (PS3 version)

A few days ago I started having problems getting online directly after booting the game. I hit the x button when it told me to to load online but it just took a unuasally long time and i never did get it loaded. So then I started letting single player load and loading online while in single player, which worked until last night when i tried opening up the pause menu and it just hang there forever looking like its loading something but the menu never comes up. I tryed deleting the install and reinstalling but its still not working. Anyone know how to fix this.

 

Also the mini map at the bottom of the screen in single player is all grey and not showing the roads, i have no idea whats going on.

umm yeah it would really be nice if someone acually monitered the help and support forums to help me fix my game

i figured out that if i wipe the greasy handprint off the disc the pause menu in single player now works, haven't tried loading online from the get go yet.

Trying to load online from the get go still leaves me at an endless loading screen. I keep having to load single player and go from there.

Try unlinking your Xbox Live account from R* Social Cub account and see if that works for you.
