He is lying, just install a PS2 emulator.

Wouldn't a PSP emulator be better since PPSSPP has the better Dev cycle?

Yes its coming soon, around november/December.

Probably in 2015, War Drum Studios are currently working on LCS Mobile

f*ck the mobile version, what about PC!?

Well, if this is coming to PC, if the updated San Andreas is anything to consider, PC might get a port of that, too.

If not, PCSX2 is your best bet to play both Stories games in full. There are PC fan remakes in the works, but those have a long way to go, and the LCS fan remake is being based upon VC, not SA as the original game was, so it's missing some of the core changes under the hood. I think that makes a number of missions rather hard to do.

Though I have to wonder; if this really is planned for mobile, wouldn't there be an announcement? We're just about to enter the November/December chunk of the year. You'd assume they'd build up to it. But I'm also assuming they did so for the previous mobile releases. The only announcement about such a version appears to be an unofficial one.

Most likely yes because the past few games; San Andreas, vice city, and gta 3 have all come out in years in order from 2011 to 2012 to 2013 and we're all released between December 6th and 15th. Chinatown wars was released in 2010 but not in December it was on January 27th. So to answer your question I'd say Ya for sure.

Without any official confirmation, it's highly unlikely. San Andreas, Vice City and GTA III had PC versions as well. So, they were ported to Android and iOS. LCS has a PSP version as well. Also, there is every chance of a 10 Year anniversary edition for LCS.

1) Installing a PS2 emulator on an iOS or Android device? Great advice, barring the fact that no phone in existence under these two OS's have anywhere close to the processing power required to play a 3D game like GTA LCS at anything close to a playable speed. PPSSPP is the much more reasonable suggestion since PSP emulation is incredibly light by comparison and can play many games at fullspeed even on low-end smartphones.

2) Kdramastars is a known clickbait site and nothing they post about gaming should be taken at face value as a result. They've been known to make sh*t up. That being said, they clearly stole their "info" from other sites that reported about this, like this site: http://portablegamingregion.com/news/exclusive-war-drum-working-gta-liberty-city-stories-mobile-ios-android/

3) That link says the original target release date would be Q4 2014. Given that we're in early December 2014 as I write this post, you'd think R* would at least mention that they'd do a 10th Anniversary version by now. But in reality I doubt it's truly in the works at this point, but we'll see.

Was it just me or has some Christian news sites degenerated into clickbait territory as well? I mean, they're the least likely venue that you'll go into for news and updates in favour of a violent video game, and yet they're posting news about the then-unrevealed PC version at one time.

It's Q4 already. Rockstar's late again on this. Talking about using an emulator, it'd just degrade the performance on Android or iOS. Both the platforms are good at consuming battery and gpu, so an emulator would just be the thing to reduce the device performance. Without any proper accelarator, a compatible one, even with good specs it'll be just hard to run the game. Earlier this year, I was having trouble running GTAIII on Android, even after having 2GBs of RAM and a Quad Core Processor.

I'd hope that for their tenth anniversaries we see both Stories games being released onto the PC for the first time.

I can't find a reason not to release it on mobile.

I mean, it will be easy buck than produce another one, isnt it?

Seeing as Rockstar is pushing its bounds with older games (SA released on mobile/remastered and Chinatown Wars finally released on Android) it would be lovely to finally get LCS/VCS on PCs as well as mobiles. A lot of people want to play these titles but couldn't due to exclusivity. Very quick buck, isn't it?

What about multiplayer?

Can it support multiplayer on mobile.

If then, the game will be a legend.

What are PS2 emulators like on android? I have a decent PC that had occasional frame rate issues with LCS, so I cant see how an android could emulate. Besides I have tried GBA emulators on android and whilst they work perfectly, the emulated buttons are very meh.

Try MyBoy! Emulator. It's the best. And yeah PS2 emulators lag. Use a PSP emulator instead
