Custom Lobbies

I just think we should be able to change lobby preferences. I don't see a problem with it. Custom lobby=No earning money or RP.

GTA IV's custom lobby system and the options that people could have selected was spot on, it was a shame that the custom lobby system from IV didn't return in V.

Obviously it wouldn't be an issue for players to have the option, but R* can't make money this way so it won't happen.

 

Players opting to play this silly unicorn god mode rather than traditional online would be a problem.

No god mode... ever make that a passive option like RDR.

keep the FF to a passive lobby option .... just to stop those fags who kill you off the radar then go passive to stand abuse you with the finger action.... sad!

Blips off/near or far was a good option on IV

No map area option from IV..... all those rooms at the airport only was boring as hell.

 

A preference list would be nice but I doubt Cockstar would go there again?

you guys just dont get the type of game rockstar was trying to make here, it was supposed to be so much more/better than gta4 online. you have custom no cop lobbies already, its called a deathmatch you dumb motherf*ckers, use them! You arent supposed to kill each other in free mode,thats why the cops rape your ass, thats why you drop money and lose ammo, they need to change it back to dropping 10K and hospital cost 5K but the problem is the games not balanced, all the cheating motherf*ckers dont care how much it costs, every legit player cryed and rightly so but instead of fixing it right rockstar half ass lowered the bills so it didnt cost as much instead of fixing the root problem of the cheaters not caring about losing so much or dying 10000 times by cop for every 10 players they kill, lol, dumb f*cks, all of ya! deathmatch is exactly a custom lobby, change many settings, get paid, but noooo, to f*cking dumb to do that, retards.

I am probably one of the more "carebear" people here...but even I admit that the whole "Free roam is not meant for killing" argument is rather stupid. If they did not want us to kill in free roam then they would not allow us to draw weapons, take damage, or hurt anyone else in any way shape or form...period.

 

Besides death-matches only do so much, and if I wanted to play DM type gameplay I would pop in <insert FPS here> and shoot people there. Do I think that there should be more options in freemode to encourage more civil behavior(more "PVE" maybe?), yes, but in the end death-matches are lackluster in this game. (been invited to nothing but melee or 10000RP matches lately so I can only imagine how the hardcore DM people feel.)

 

And about your quip at DMs being custom lobbies and that people are too stupid to realize it...Maybe they do not care about team work, points, or the time limit that the game mode offers? So before you throw insults around, maybe you should think that maybe different folks have different strokes. Custom lobbies would make a lot of people happy, just maybe not you.

they would make me happy too, but im just saying this games so f*cked up cause its being played all wrong, lol! clearly they dont care about the teamwork and co op factor, they only want gta 4 style full on deathmatch 24/7 but rockstar tried to make it so much more than that. they f*cked up royally however, so its hard to blame the dumb players as they didnt really get clear directions or balanced decent options for chaos which is the best part of this game for most people.

 

they botched deathmatches making them not fun so thats why no one wants to play them,but they are much better now, though they do still need filters for picking jobs, no one wants to play 1000000rp bullsh*t crap DMs.

 

Im not saying you cant or werent supposed to ever kill anyone, there were deterrents such as bad sport(poorly implemented, never worked, still dont, nearly removed completely) Mental state poorly implemented, doesnt work, worthless. When you died in free mode originally it cost a lot more than now and you dropped a lot more than you do now but cheaters didnt care and and legit players bitched cause they were getting f*cked, losing all their money which was much harder and took longer for them to get. Rockstar f*cked the dog yet again and failed to fix this problem correctly though, they lowered the costs but they never fixed the cops f*ck your ass still and sh*tty spawn right next to the f*cker that just killed you so he spawnkills you again.

 

there was no passive mode at the launch, didnt need it till f*ckheads spawnkill you constantly so you cant even switch sessions or quit the game,thats why currently passive mode exists and why you can still get killed in passive mode, it isnt optimized or a perfect solution, it was never supposed to be an option in the first place. thats why auto aim targets the npcs and cops first and not the player right in front of you shooting you, thanks why so many things are so f*cked up and dont work right or seem off.

 

just think about it, is this in anyway decent or balanced for pvp in free mode at all? no it aint, cause it wasnt supposed to be this way. it makes no sense how its set up and currently works, its a total clusterf*ck, players dont even render at teh same time/distance on each others screens and its the worst PVP excuse for a game with so many unfair things that its really not even funny, dont you see?

 

why they halfass fixed it and not fully fixed it though i cannot say. i look forward to seeing it on ps4/xbox1 cause im thinking the ps3/xbox360 is dead, discontinued, it doesnt run correctly anyway, it wont be getting much more updates and nowhere near the new content the new version does, they could totally change the whole game for new version and go back to more coop friendly free roams that discourage player killing player action or they could go gta4 style and give us the custom lobby settings so we can dump the annoying sh*tty cops and fix spawn points so you dont get spawnkilled nonstop and otherwise optimize the game and make it better.
