I saw on another page people were having the same discussion on the eclipse. JDM yes in the business world means sold in Japanese domestic market, but very few people outside of the business world uses "JDM" to describe the car, only the parts. If you see a DC2 with long headlights, you say it has JDM headlights. The headlights themselves may be true Japanese market lights, or from a Japanese market car, or an imitation not from Japan. The car has JDM parts or JDM style. No one talks about the car's market because it is assumed the car is from the local market as required by law. Any car enthusiast knows the Eclipse in this game was never sold in Japan. No car enthusiast drives a 3rd generation Eclipse because it is ugly and useless. It's not JDM style. Elegy RH8 And Blista Compact You can't see it well in this picture but the paintjob is blue metallic on the main and black secondary with blue pearlecent. Commander S Posted August 23, 2015 Share Posted August 23, 2015 Still hoping we get HD-universe versions of some of the San Andreas JDM motors - the Jester (Toyota Supra), ZR-350 (Mazda RX-7), Alpha (Dodge Stealth, so basically a Mitsubishi GTO/3000GT) and Elegy (Nissan Skyline GT-R). Either rename 'em, or just add 'classic' to the end of the names or something like that - add them to the Sports class, give them a metric ton of body mods (maybe add vinyl options, akin to how the wraps work for the Windsor), make them get a decent boost from fully-upgrading them, and I'd be a very happy camper. Heck, for that authentically JDM touch, I'd love it if those all came as right-hand drive - yeah, it'd require those cars to have unique, context-sensitive versions of in-car animations like turning the radio dial (since the hand being used would need to be swapped, obviously), but considering that R* managed to add things like the 'pointing' animation for heists, as well as things like pulling the gull-wing doors of the Osiris/Stirling GT shut when those cars were added, it's not a completely unfeasible thing to implement, and it'd be a cool touch that'd add a distinctive flavour to any such DLC cars. Well since every car in gta is left hand drive like commander pointed out none of them are TRULY jdm. U need to contact a mod n get all these usdm "imposters" pics out of here, and have this thread locked, b4 anymore ppl can post sweet pictures of their cars lol. Chillax bro just ppl tryin to have a lil fun here. I think the penumbras ppl made look sick.
