Sounds like you've got everything covered steve, between you and live joker I think these meets are just going to get better and better. You both raised great points about the crew, I agree the emblem could be a cool look on the trucks if done well and also agree with live joker that it could be intimidating joining a meet full of one crew, anyway ill leave that in your very capable hands.

 

Either way ill be joining any meets that I can with you guys. I will have to plug in my mic for next one (if I can figure out how lol) I don't use it cause of the squeakers, I mute everyone except friends, until I added a few of you the other night durning the meet I could only hear steve then I realised I had it set to friends only. Made it a bit easier to know what was happening after I changed that :-)

In the meet currently, in Steve's car after a few, ah, mishaps with my Injection and Mesa. Tis a good'un so far!

late last night i decided to throw together an off road challenge that started at a reasonable time for us in the UK. We had a new group some first timers and some veterans of hosting car meets ( i was beginning to with i had put a bit more though into thing than i had) and some who had joined me a silly o'oclock on previous challenges. Hoping not to let everyone down we met up at the beach, i had decided to mash up the river challenge and mt Josiah free-roam routes.

 

Things were a bit quiet to start, until some one invited a Manc:PureStylez (lol). I declined to join him on the backseat of his pimped out huntley for some Haribos as i was far to distracted by tash and pheonix (who were appropriately dressed in high boots and short short/skirts as always) We got going just as " oX darkness" arrived, i had forgotten my aviators and despite my mummy telling me as a child to never look directly at a chrome sandking, i could not resist ! i was blind and i promptly trashed, several surfboards, sunshades, pamelas tower and several cars.

 

Things got chaotic around some tough coast terrain was finally crossed and the only casualty was Mitch from Baywatch, who was filming his big return episode 4978, i have yet to break the news to Fapperson yet.

 

We headed up from the beach up the river, things flowed nicely and people found there feet,on the mic and on the terrain. All enjoyed the river jump and quickly became obsessed with completing challenges, to After a quick "reses" we regrouped. Some had spent the time wisely removing fuel tanks, calling in sand kings while other went shopping and came back in there pants(crabcrust, darkness, and phenix). Crabcrust a fellow member of my PooPoo crew spent the rest of the meet humping everyone and everything in sight, and with his new polished helmet on show, sucssefully managed to photobomb 70+ shots

 

Unfortunately the manc had to go, (shame cause he had filled in the silence at the start that often occurs when you get 12 strangers in the room and for that i thank you !) ps get some fizzy haribos next time and im in ! nice one fella, madforit laterz

 

We then headed up mount Josiah, after miserable failing to jump between a moving train. Genius idea by me. go spend 5mins of your life repairing your trucks guys and then i will get you all to smash into a train (doh).

 

We then took on two paths.Some players went To the left, to the left and took on "Beyonce bush" and other went right to head for the "can you see Dwayne ?" challenge, those that went left won (although many parts fell of, doors, hoods etc i picked them up and everything you own is safe in a box, to the left . whilst on the right side no one could get passed the invisible rock !

 

the narrow ridge on the way up was a little challenging especially for those in liberators (chainsor)

some lovely shots at the top (cue dancing boys) and then back down along a narrower ridge, casualty's were many ! ...... the rebel went down and amazingly saved it self ..... only to drive straight back and down the other side.

 

Pheonix offered me a lift down in the BF "love bug" injection , but before i got the" How", in "How u doin" out of my mouth we were flying down the mountain ! at the bottom i think i left my pants slightly stained, in the wrong way and was thankfully it was not me wearing the white bikini.

 

i had planned to end the meet with a quick route up the river ! but we stayed on and completed the river and visited the cable car station !

a lot of laughs on the way up.

 

at the summit we parked the sandkings on top of the station and prepared for the leap of faith. (looking forward to seeing that pic)

 

before heading down for a demolition derby and police shoot out at the casino.

 

i had an excellent night with a great bunch of mainly brits, no trouble and great banter. I would of liked to of had you all along for a challenge that was fresh and new and that i had prepared more for, instead of just rehashing past routes. But i hope to have you all back again for some new meets ! thanks to all that attended enjoy the pics !

 

 

Tash & her sandking passed all the pre inspection checks. Offroad tyres ? check. rollcage? check. higheels ? tats? short skirt ? and a large pair of fuel tanks ? check

 

with no Bhodi at tonights meet i had other targets ! 4 of them

always a tease, phenix even got her mesa to wink at passing hosts !

a) he bought this huntley from an old lady, whos husband had sadly passed away, it was his pride and joy ... some say his ghost haunts the car and can be seen sitting in the drivers seat from time to time (some one call Evett feilding)

 

b) sniger, sniger what sort of idiot would turn up at an off road meet in a huntley ??????

i have knocked the paint job, but in this light it looks awesome

 

i decided to coach phoenix in to improve her chances of getting up the challenge

 

 

after taking a closer look ! i decided i quite liked this view

 

my decision. A close up was needed to proper analyze her hill climbing assets

i was therefore surprised that despite the considerable size of her ti....talents, she still found it hard

after a poor first attempt manc lad needed a pep talk, i told him to relax and just be himself, he replied that he could be no one else, and that he was feeling supersonic, at this point he started demanding Gin and tonic. as a reward i told him we would stop at the liquor store and he could have it all, once he made it up the hill, as a rallying cry i asked him how much did he want it ?

this did not have the desired effect and with a chuckle, he blushed and said, i made him laugh and then asked for my autograph. I declined my head was hurting i needed to find my freind Elsa and borrow some alka seltzez. obvilosly embarresed manc lad walked away hands behind his back, waffling gibberish about sellin the big issue and doing it with doctors in helicopters, canes and supersonic trains ....

 

 

on the way up the climb crabcrust caught a glimpse of the man in his pants and had an epiphany !

the last innuendo was one two far for phoenix and as i let out the fart id been holding in all meet little did i know i was about to be cup-caked from behind

Well, tonight's meet was pretty freaking brilliant. As seems to be becoming tradition, there was a lot of ramming Tash from behind as well as Tash doing some ramming of her own (she likes to look them in the eye as she rams them from the front); Steve experienced the horror of being driven (read: thrown) down Mount Josiah in Phoenix's Injection; Darkness and Crab put on a hell of a gun show (as well as the consolation prize of a fun-size wiener between them) and made sure to scar a few of us for life; Chainsoar, despite hailing from England, represented 'Amerihurr' in The Liberator (and I'm sure his pole was erect and his flag waving triumphant in the name of patriotism); PureStylez displayed some fantastically dry humour towards the females of the group before playing the kindly Uncle and encouraging us all to have faith in our vehicles; Steve found his inspiration to continue the climb up Mount Chiliad in the form of a redheaded hottie in a white bikini - and goddamn, everyone played their part and we all had an absolutely brilliant time.

 

Great fun taking my Mesa & Injection out for a spin too; even if the Injection didn't quite make it up every climb I think she's my new favourite!

There were two routes that we could take up Mount Josiah: the 'easy' left side and the 'challenging' right side.

 

Tash realises too late that she misunderstood what Chainsoar meant by 'check out my monster truck'.

 

It all kind of turned into a bit of a party in everyone's pants at this point... and Tash has clearly had enough of Steve's bullsh*t.

 

Steve tries to hide the damp bulge in the back of his trousers on top of Phoenix's BF Injection after being taken for a 'spin' down Mount Josiah...

 

Phoenix senses that something bad is probably about to happen.

 

NOOOOOO, MY BABY!!!!!

 

There were a lot of casualities. A lot.

 

Mount Chiliad is always, always a must.

 

'Yeah, we got a little ol' convoy - aint she a beautiful sight?'

 

The group got together at the top of Chiliad to take a picture for the charity single they'd recorded earlier that day: 'I Got 99 Problems But A Sandking Aint One'.

 

Victorious.

 

The terrifying journey back down Mt. Chiliad...

 

No meet is worth having if there isn't a Demolition Derby afterwards.

 

Phoenix and Steve stand on top of her destroyed DD vehicle, Steve finally allowing himself to enjoy the fart he'd been holding in the entire meet.

 

I had GREAT fun tonight guys; can't wait for the next one!

I'm Tick, age undecided as of yet and I love walks on the beach. Nice to meet you!

 

I just like to think as if I was a new guy. I remember when I started doing meets in Forza ages ago and I was real scared - all these guys know one another and I gotta be memorable so I can get in on the next meet. You just apply your personality to these guys and hope they like you so hopefully a crew won't shy players into not talking at the meet. If steve does make a crew he and others will need to keep in mind that all they've got is a name and a logo. It's not a membership (well, it shouldn't because those are the crews that are obnoxious and scary to talk to), but I know steve and if he makes a crew it's gonna be proper. Also, I thought you didn't have a mic so I refused your friend request. I sent one your way, if you wanna accept that would be awesome!

 

Gutted I missed the meet. Alarm rang, told it to shut up and went back to sleep. Glad to see some awesome pics (great job on that post, Phoenix!) and as much as I regret not showing up I feel it gave you guys the opportunity to meet others and not hear my annoying voice for 2 hours and a half.

 

 

Cheers m'dear, was good fun compiling it! Definitely think I'm gonna be seeing a lot more of you awesome gentlemen and fair lady.

And don't feel too bad about missing it, you clearly needed the shut-eye! Looking forward to seeing everyone at the next meet.

 

Just a heads up guys, in case you missed it - Steve posted his pics and commentary a few posts above mine, so don't miss it! Brilliant as ever!

 

EDIT: Also feel it's prudent to say that I think a crew is a good idea, if only for a way for Steve and Tick to announce meets in another location, and also especially - as, if we set all of our active crews to this one during meets - all of our meet photos would be in one place for us to peruse on R* Social as well as on here. Wouldn't have to use the hierarchy function if we didn't want to. Either way, as long as we keep having meets it doesn't much matter.

Thank you all so much for last night. My legs are tired from all the dancing I did, but you know what, I'd do it all over again!

 

Will definitely partake in the next one. It was great to meet you all, I usually cruise around and do missions with Steve but it was nice to do something different.

 

Had such a blast on that narrow road on the mountain.

 

I was presented with a lovely error message where it returned me to the single player mode around 11.10pm. Was too tired to log back in just to say goodbye, so, good night everyone!

Just wanted to follow up from the other day. I got to talking to Ms. Fapperson's identical second cousin Pamela Manderson about the continence issues in the bed of my Bohdi. I pulled it out of the garage to show what she had done... And... NO MORE RUST!!! Talk about making lemonade out of, well... Anyway, extend my thanks and I'll be discussing patent ideas in the future. Now if I can figure out where these red sores around the exhaust pipe came from...

I love the photos and narrative, nice one. It's good to see other vehicles than the Sandking also being used. While the Sandking is probably the best off-roader, it's good to see other vehicles.
