GTAO without rank or money

Got all the money I want and ranks that I need and I'm still playing so.....yea.

It's an interesting way to look at it. To me GTA is a game which involves a lot of creativity as well as personalised things.

 

I would say something like this would work as long as everything is a level unlock.

Actually a level unlock system is a great idea. Lets say then for eg. Rank exist, but money does not. Everything gets unlocked(paint/cars/guns etc.) as you progress for free. Ammo is free and unlimited. Paint for cars unlock as a whole, not just individually. Apartments/houses are unlocked as you get a higher rank etc...

P.s. For the record, I like GTAO. I dont mind progression or rank systems in GTA. I just think the way R* chose to incorporated them is wrong. I believe it will change the way R* will make future titles, and it will manipulate the way you play the game.

Everytime I start up a GTAO, i think of how much fake money i have first. I dont think about fun. I think about how much fun I can afford. This, to me(GTA Veteran), is why i say GTAO has failed.

That would have simply been the multiplayer of GTA IV. I'd still play it, but certainly not as often as this.

I actually spent my Christmas Miracle money down by buying over 20 Adders repeatedly because I had nothing to do in the game anymore.

 

A big part of the fun is setting goals for yourself and accomplishing them, at least for me. The new payout system makes this more enjoyable and possible now. I hated grinding RR.

 

Even though I think all this, I still miss December. I think those were the glory days of Online.
