Something I noticed while at a car show

I was invited to a car show at the pier earlier, and notice that when I called the mechanic to get a different car to show off my last car was still there in the parking space I left it. I had six or seven of my cars out in the car show, plus another guy caught onto what I was doing and had a few ofhis out too. We could've certainly ran out of space in that parking lot if we would've brought all our cars out. Just think, 2 players thats 40 cars. We had 5-6 people showing off cars, imagine if they brought all theirs out lol. Here is 2 of my cars parked aside each other. My gallery was full during the car show and it ended (because of a jet fag) early before I could make more room in my gallery. But this shows it can be done. Me and a friend will try to get all our cars out later and get a pic.

 

 

 

Well im sure a lot of you guys are probably aware of this but for the guys who weren't, now you are. Oh and like I said, I only had 6 or so of my cars out, so im assuming if the game let those stay out you could probably bring all your cars out to show off. Also keep in mind when you call up a new car you can no longer get in your previous car you left out and I think someone has to stay near all the cars so they wont disappear.. Sorry if this has been posted already I couldn't find a post here talking about it.

Usually the last car used after calling a new car will stay but never heard of more than 1 extra pv as weve tried this and ive had friends say the car despawned in front of them

It will take you 30 years to get all 40 of your cars out by the mechanic because of the stupid cooldown for the mechanic

And I thought you had to be more than some "minimum distance" from your existing PV into order to get the mechanic to bring another one (at which point the first one is locked out). I would be interested in knowing how the OP accomplished this, as I have wanted to take a group picture of my cars also.

This you are right about. It took me like 15-20 minutes to get just those six lol. I just stuck around the car show then stole a car after about 2 minutes, drive up the road and get another one. Edited September 15, 2014 by SimpleJack_420

I can assure you I had six cars out and another guy had two of his out. Everyone else just had the car they drove up in. Then I heard a guy say over the mic "who cars are all of these" and the kid said "I have two out and this KillorbeKilled guy has five". I thought the same as you though, but I definitely had six cars out. Could only drive the most recently called one though.

Ah, so that's the secret. It creates an actual justification for car meets , unlike my usual antisocial solo GTA0 playtime.

 

I wonder if the previous PV will not despawn if I have a dead hooker in the passenger seat? I could take a group shot of all of my PV's with a dead hooker in each one.

I've been to a meet dedicated to trying to get as many cars and we could, there were about 10 of us. PVs started to despawn right in front of us after we pulled out ~40, I bet next gen will be able to handle a lot more tho

It's been known for a long time - these threads just take it to the next level by having a car show with it.
But yeah, it's a really cool "glitch" to do. Sometimes cars will despawn so watch out for empty spots. If you get the trick down you can have a parking lot filled in about 10-15 minutes. Time goes on quickly if you got good mates in the lobby, too.
