best desert in gta

Rockstar messed up the desert in V. Just think about what could have they done with the updated graphics and illumination of the Rage engine. I don’t understand what’s the point of filling it with useless stuff that only makes you feel as you were in the suburbia of the city instead of lost in the the wilderness like in RDR.

What type of comparison is this? Bone County felt like an ACTUAL desert, spooky at night, bare, secluded, SILENT, the works. The 'Grand' Senora is a pathetic joke. Feels like you are in a sandlot, hearing the traffic behind you and all that sh*t. GTA SA sh*ts on V in so many ways, it's unbelievable.

Even though I played the game at the age of 13, Bone County isn't scary in any way, shape or form possible.

 

Flint County on the other hand.....

I prefer Bone Counties desert. I felt it was better because it took up a larger proportion of the map it appeared in.

Grand Senora Desert is the complete opposite. It felt like a sandbox, with roads around it.

Mothman, old. Obviously not true.

Falling dots, graphical issue. Never noticed that on the PS2 version.

Las Prujas (I think) ghost, acceptable.

Body bags in hole, easter egg.

 

Etc. The only interesting myth is the "wood creature" since we still don't know what it is.

Oh yes! Those myths in SA brings back the memories of all those crazy time we used to relentlessly keep on searching, while I've found some to be true during my PC sessions, but most were absolutely fan-made crap ... lol

We never came to know what the f*ck was the 'woods creature'. IMO it wasn't real at all; though I read somewhere that an R* employee had said: 'There's no bigfoot, just like in real life. But there is something in the woods'. Maybe it was trick to get more people to buy the game.

yea i agree the countryside was better and so were the myths there arent very many myths for gta 5 and i watch darkmythhunter. gta 4 had some good myths to. you cant forget about ratman or the abandoned casino.
