Best Hideouts Locations?

Hey there,

 

I was curious as to whether or not anyone's aware of any hideout locations. My buddy and I were planning on travelling to a hideout which was difficult to access (not impossible/no glitching) and then provoking everyone in our session so they would attempt to come after us and kill us both.

 

We have already visited Trevor's secret laboratory, but unfortunately the only issue with that is the fact that the cops can somehow glitch themselves through the solid door and kill us both.

 

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

In Paleto Bay, there is a nice spot on the 2nd/3rd story inside a building south of/part of the Cluckin' Chicken factory. You can get up to it from the railroad area, provides some acceptable cover and is bound to drive people nuts. I don't think Lazers can hit you while in there, as there is room to maneuver inside and away from the "windows". Grenades are a bit tricky, but with a good police presence outside, I doubt there will be many people who get second chances.

My favourite location to take a crew, set bounties on each other, and attempt to survive is up on the half-constructed skyscraper in the centre of town. About half way up there is a ledge where you can snipe people down on the ground, enter the interior to avoid Buzzard rockets, police wont spawn up there, and it can get very exciting.

 

Those looking to get you can attempt to fly in, parachute in, climb the long ladders up the crane to your location, or snipe you from an adjacent roof, but none of the options are easy. Easier to defend and you also have the ability to "provoke" people as long as you are handy with a sniper rifle.

 

It's good fun up there.

The Humane Laboratory is a fun and even detailed place to glitch into and screw around.

 

A nice place to hide if you're getting pursued by bounty hunters or assholes like me.

If you want people to come after you just place $9,000 bounties on each other. 4 or 5 players in a 16 player lobby will try to kill you.

The bank or the hangar at the airport you can walk up onto. Also the train

One way in and pretty easily defendable.

Also, there is a small tunnel underneath the road between Paleto Bay and ... whatever is on the upper right of the map. It's just about at the center between the left and right side of the map on the main highway. It's a tight area, so explosives are just about useless, the pipe has some bends in it so sniping from outside isn't that great and best of all... Most people will think you're above them somewhere (or glitching) unless they already know about the tunnel/pipe. In SP, there is a sport ball you can play with inside there; don't know if it is there in MP.

SingingEwe had it right with the train. It is the most fun to defend yourself as players wreck their cars trying to follow you.

 

The big freight ships at the docks are good holdout spots too.
