Malibu454
The guy who said "lots of stuff to do, I cant do it all", is high. Paper and pencil are boring if you can't think of anything to do with them. But someone who likes to write or draw will enjoy them for a lifetime. MadHaTT3R
The guy who said "lots of stuff to do, I cant do it all", is high. Paper and pencil are boring if you can't think of anything to do with them. But someone who likes to write or draw will enjoy them for a lifetime. The game is full of tools for the player to make fun with. Like what exactly? Ive pretty much done all their is to do, that I consider fun. This isnt a sandbox after all. Its all very structured, unless you want to go off the grid and do some hacking. You cant adjust missions, create missions, you cant recreate cars, you cant add something that isnt supposed to be there You cant get out the paper and pencil in game, unless you want to make a race or DM as if some DM you create is any different than any other or race isnt any different with your limited number of items and the uselessness of most of them. You can climb invisible stairs and kill people with remarkable accuracy. You can glitch into stuff and do whatever it is you want. You can drive around the same streets and shoot the same guns at the same people. You can join DM's where 9 outta 10 times someone is cheating. You can race, but only if you race the way other people want, cause if you dont allow ramming and think it racing, no one will join you. You can fly a plane around the sky, go under some bridges and find some cool trick spots, land and get another plane and do it again. Course the plane is completely useless for any other reason, but we still play RR 300 times to afford it so it can sit and do nothing. YOu can buy some garages and fill em up with cars that you spend real money on (dafuq!) or spend countless hours to earn and pay for em, so everyone can see that same car with a pretty identical paint job in another session. Now really? Tools? Im sorry, but Ive been gaming going on 20 years now and there are no "tools" that infuse life or entertainment out of this game. A DLC with some shiny stuff for people to pay for (one way or the other) is not "adding to the game, it might add to your game, but then I didnt pay to play your game. None of this is meant to offend you. Just me, trying to figure out why anyone would defend this title. It was and is, hype. If you really sat back and looked at it objectively, you would agree. We bought a Beta, that was promised as Zeta. R* made a ton of cash and in return, you get to buy useless aircraft and try to create fun. I still have a blast playing, when I jump in with some friends, just to dick around. As soon as they want to take it serious, I gotta go. If this is all you have to keep you entertained, I get it. If you can do something else, you should. wangsparkinglot

enormous
So it's been a while since I last played GTA Online. I stopped playing it because I feel like there's nothing else to do but just ride my Entity xF around Los Santos. So, what else do I do when I've unlocked nearly everything in the game? Just seems like there's nothing much. GOLF. Cornbat
theNGclan
It's GTA Online. What you do is up to you. You have all the tools you'll need ready for your taking. Do what you want to do, alone or with friends. This is your opportunity, so take it. Most importantly, have fun. Hjaere
Arm wrestling is good fun! One time a played with one of my buddies, and I kept winning and he was pissed! I couldn't stop laughing at him, because arm wrestling is the easiest thing to do in GTA Online!
The Deadite
I'm rank 209 and I have on it's own for Online 800+ Hours and for Single Player I have around 200+ hours. So yeah... I would recommend playing the Single Player if you haven't 100% it yet.

MadHaTT3R
madhatter can I just ask you - what game do you suggest for us ? what will keep people so entertained, a year after it's release that they get the urge to play it everyday ? not takin the piss here. serious question There are numerous games like GTA that are available. My friends and I looked for something and found Payday 2, it was fun for a while. Saints Row is pretty fun and very much akin to GTA (though a bit cartoony.) The Borderlands games are a blast to play, for a limited amount of time. I was watching my buddy play Destiny yesterday and that looks to be my next purchase, until Horizon2 comes out at least. Fact is, no game company today is doing it very good. Many have taken EA and now R*'s lead and made it all about the addons and DLC's ie: future dollars. I cant tell you what TO play, but I can give an HONEST review of GTA's current state and defy anyone to deny what I am saying is relevant. Dont get me wrong, I still join in for a laugh now and then, but thats all it is good for. I have a friend who just recently started playing GTAO and having to help him level and earn, really brought out the glaring faults. It was good, when it was new and you had to learn, but once you learned, it was boring. If you like DM's, you would love this game, cause really thats all their is and if like me you come from a shooter background, its boring. The one thing GTA has done right, is make the DLC's free. But then they still get over, by over pricing everything so much, you have to either work your but off ( and seriously I draw the line when I have to work for fake stuff. I already did that, when I bought the game) or buy Shark cards for fake stuff (do I really need to explain why this is dumb?). I get all the "Well it cant be free" arguments, but seriously? 15k for a shirt? 25k for a car horn? If you look objectively (not as a gamer), you will see I am right or darn close to it. For what could have/should have been a giant of a game, it seems R* got their money and decided to hold out for more, leaving the game a fraction of what it could have been. Just the fact that we are still waiting for (and will probably never get) a game mode promised on the box and by R* ie:hiests, says it all. We dont even have the game, they told us we would have. In fact thats why we got PayDay 2, it is a heist game and has all the components that GTA left out. Missions are ok, but there is no sense of team in them. That a scrub could come in and blow up everything ruining your mission, says much. Edited September 20, 2014 by MadHaTT3R
