Site doesn't track me?

Hello again.

 

First off, I wanted to apologize, I know I've posted a lot here.

 

But there is this issue that only occurs on the desktop/PC version of the site for me.

 

Let's say I read a few posts on a thread. I close the window. I come back to the thread and it places me where I left off (Example: 20 posts are made. I read 4. I come back to start on post 5.)

It only does that on the mobile version. On the desktop/PC version, if I've read/posted in a thread, it always places me on the first page original post whenever I click on a thread. Anyone know why?

It will only go to the first page/post if you click on the name of it from a topic list (below example being a list of threads from the modding section of the forums), always.

However, if the topic is the last updated thread in the forum, and it shows to the right of the forum like this:

It will take you to the last post you read in that thread, for me being this post in that thread, on Page 68 (out of 69):

At least, this is what happens to me, I hope this helps.

If you click on a thread on the mobile version it will always direct you to the first unread post, while on the desktop version it will only direct you to the first unread if you click / . It's for convenience I guess, since you can easily missh*t the "unread icon" on the mobile version
