Dezeer Posted September 14, 2014 Share Posted September 14, 2014 Reading this forum some people, rightfully so, are riled up about the delay from fall to January 27th. What would Rockstar need to be doing so that you accepted the delay better? What kind of information and details would you like to Rockstar give us? For me they would need to post the real reason behind the delay, whether it be business reason, then tell that they want to have a tiered launch. Or if it really is problems in the PC performance then tell us what the problems are and what are they trying to achieve. It would also be beneficial if Rockstar would show us the PC settings/quality and give us the estimated requirements. In later date, couple of / few weeks after console launch, I would like to see some PC performance centric review sites like Gamegpu.ru, pcgh.de and others get invited to see the PC version hands on and show us that it really is a good PC-build and worth bying/pre-ordering. I think that could justify the long wait and the price tag. Because let's be honest, even if we wait till 2016, they're still gonna charge full money for it. S1LV3R_W0LF Posted September 14, 2014 Share Posted September 14, 2014 (edited) Honestly I would be happy if they came clean and said: "Ok guys the PC version is ready and looks stunning, but you have to understand that what moves us is the money and we had certain arrangements that made us delay your version a little bit, but don't worry you're gonna be very pleased with our effort and it will be released in January 27th for sure unless a comet hits the earth or there is some natural disaster, we're staring to the complete game as we speak". I would actually forgive them and would understand if they were honest, but the fact is they don't give a damn about their loyal fans that supported the franchise when it was a DMA property and made it accepted and the success it became. If they allow Nvidia/AMD both a shot at magnificent pre-release drivers so the game excels from the get go. For it not to require a computer from 5 years in the future to get 60fps on low. I want it to utilize multiple cores and preform better with 4-6-8 cores but still be able to achieve medium on 2 alone. PC exclusive content such as more decent Video editor, Custom stations, Internet radio Plugins. Allow for official (social club) and unofficial servers for online.
