Argonaut
Hypothetically, when do you think the next gen consoles will drop to a more reasonable price? $200 for PS4. £122 Pounds. That's 3DS money. Are you kidding?
LV_Jag
Probably in December 2015 will be the first somewhat decent price drop. Doesn't it take a couple of years for the prices to drop? Please do correct me as I never really pay attention. I'd like the prices to drop this December, but I doubt it.

TwistedAngelXx
Hypothetically, when do you think the next gen consoles will drop to a more reasonable price? I don't believe you at all, the consoles would never drop their price at the retail stores? Edited September 14, 2014 by TwistedAngelXx
Ayylien
Personally, I think they reasonably in priced in America, I live in the UK, so the prices are a little absurd at the moment. It would cost a UK customer roughly £245 ($400) if it were priced the same as in America. It costs £330 ($536) here.
Solid Scorpion
In a few years at least. Sony and Microsoft will inevitably release a PS4/XB-One slim and smaller HDD options in the future too which will bring prices down.
senormidget
You can't even get a brand new PS3 or Xbox 360 for that cheap yet. In the UK anyway. Flachbau

darthYENIK
I think we'll see the PS4 price drop to $299 in spring of 2015. Flachbau
N7Operative84
I bet, it will take around 4 years to both the PS4 and Xbox One to drop to $199 - $249.
RyanBurnsRed
Hey Sony could of released another $600 console. Seing what we got last time $400 does sound reasonable. could of? Wtf is that? And Sony didn't release another $600 console because they are in financial distress. They lost money on every PS3 sold up until around 2010. Maybe even a bit after that. It wouldn't make sense for them to release another $600 console. So no, even if they could (which they can't), they wouldn't. It'd be the death of them. tuareg
The bone might get a reasonable drop in price eventually, but don't expect anything close to the numbers you brought up!
NYC PATROL
Sony, as a whole, isn't exactly sitting comfortably financially the last time I read about it. They are in a restructuring phase. Even though Playstation is a small portion of the comapany, they don't want to get into bad habits. The PS4 seems to be selling just fine at the price it is currently at. I don't think we should expect a price drop anytime soon. If there is one at some point down the line, probably no more than $20 to $50 off. Edited September 16, 2014 by NYC PATROL
