Can you guys share with me what makes you want to buy the game again for next gen.

Β

I'm getting it anyway. Just want to know what others think!

At Christmas I'm getting an Xbox One, so when I get that I'm selling my Xbox 360. So I'm getting GTA V for Xbox One so I can carry on playing GTA Online.

I really can't justify spending about Β£50 on a game that I played and completed a month after I originally bought it and have not played since. All the new "shiny shiny" stuff which R* are putting into it does not detract from the short amd lacklustre single player experience, the abysmally atrocious and painful vehicle physics (both driving and damage), and the ficus on MP rather than SP player experience.

Β

Even were R* to include an option of GTAIV or BoGT driving physics in the new gen release, it would take an awful lot more than that to persuade me to buy it.

i have it on the ps3 but im getting it on the ps4 for a couple reasons

-hopefully singleplayer glitches will be fixed

-been a gta fan since gta 3 came out and this seems like a big deal

I already have the PS3 version of the game but I'm probably going to sell that and get the PC version once it's released. The reason for buying it again is all the improvements they've made for the NG/PC version. (graphics, enhanced damage, denser traffic, etc)

Cuz it will have new features.. graphics etc .... wont lag or tear .. it will just run clear and be nicer .. thats why... and yeah... will have 32 players multiplayer :)

I'm kinda torn about whether i should get a PS4 for it or a gaming laptop. I'm sure the best choice would be a laptop so as to get mods and what not, but it would be weird having to use an Xbox controller since not a lot of games on PC support ps3 controllers(as far as i know). I also have no idea what kind of computer i'd get since i know practically nothing about them.

how do you drive with wasd. like... it goes to one extreme to the other. no in between. not like the keys are pressure sensitive either.

I wonder that too. just like real driving, I need pressure imput of some sort. Even if i do get it for PC(which would require getting a laptop, like i mentioned before) i'm at least gonna be using a 360 controller with it if PS3 controller won't work.

Kinda off topic but i remember playing Driver on the PS1(where police would come after you if you speed) and it had no pressure sensitive buttons so i constantly tapped the throttle to keep the car around the speed limit

For me, the motive of purchasing New-Gen Grand Theft Auto: V for my Playstation 4 is for a distinguished objective in juxtaposition to Last-Gen. Whereas with the predecessor I had a sense or urgency to tackle the storyline with a normal, progressive flow. :) The focal point for New-Gen is going to be to embark on a exploration spree and survey the beautifully, tessellated, anti-aliased and dynamically-shadowed landscape and seek out every awesome nuance that I can, from the animations to the revamped Artificial Intelligence of the NPCs and other assets. :)

Β

Oh, and I will most definitely be scrutinizing various vehicle interiors, to see the scope of intimate detail with the dashboard / instrument cluster. I am hopeful that all the variants of dashboards will be re-textured. :) We have the knowledge that both the speedometer and tachometer will function, but the question that remains to be satisfied is to as if upon starting the engine, the dashboard indicators will illuminate and the gauge needles will conduct a sweep test. That, would be realistically awesome. :D

Β

There are surely more surprises to be disclosed by Rockstar in the forthcoming weeks. :)

Of course!

Β

I've been playing GTA V non-stop since last year, so why wouldn't I want improvements. They've certianly given me enough value to earn another $60 from me. I've got more out of this 1 game from Rockstar than probably my last 10 games from EA or Ubi lol.

Β

I of course wish it had more new content.... but that's because I'm a fanboy that always wants more :D

Β

gotta use a controller

Β

if you use auto-aim, controller is better anyhow for GTA

Β

if you use free aim (which you should because I think it makes GTA much more fun and challenging) then just switch between keyboard and controller as you play

New car interiors definitely but after seeing the screenshot of the Classic Coquette in Next-Gen format, I noticed the steering wheel looks awfully textured, just like the current model.

.... How come nobody said anything about the zombie, or the aliens that abducted who seemed to be Michael in the trailer?

I loved GTA V, so it'd be nice to get an improved version. I'm getting it for the PS4 when it comes out, then I'll see if I get the PC version. I'm not a huge fan of mods but I'd really love to see Los Santos in ultra settings.

I think it'll be a rental first than I'll make the decision whether it's worth buying again.

For better loading times, better graphics, better textures, more content, and no modders.

IΒ΄ll get a PS4 and GTA 5 for it.Not many of my friends have Xbox like I do so I canΒ΄t play with them, and IΒ΄m also getting a next gen version because of Dukes(and maybe some other exclusive vehicles, weapons and other stuff).

If I get a PS4 or Xbox One, sure, but I'm not gonna go out and buy a new console just for one game. If I do buy one, I'll probably get a game I haven't played before. I just don't think GTA V story mode is worth another $60

Only reason for me is there hasnt been much to play on nextgen so far and i'd like to actually use the system after 4 months of owning it.

Will be buying it for PS4. So far with what we know, to me at least, it all justifies buying it again. Plus when my 360 sh*t on me, there were quite a few side quests and activities I didn't get a chance to do.

There's a game coming out soon that I want, so I bought the PS4.

GTA V will be my second PS4 game.
