why did they pull a skylift on us with the cargo plane

i was wondering why did they make the cargo plane mission exclusive like they did in gta bogt? i realise it was very big and it would have been harder to land on other runways but it wouldent have been impossible. i liked the plane and atleast they let us fly it unlibe bogt were we never got to fly it except cheats. if this is in the wrong section sorry but ive never seen this posted.

The thing can barley take off from Los Santos International Airport without hitting something, it's just simply too big for practical use outside of missions. The frame rate also goes down the toilet sometimes when you fly it low or crash.

Yep, too unwieldy for free flying around the map. I don't really miss it though, I like my planes small and nimble so I can do stunts.

Even looking at it's wreck after a crash will make your frame rate go low, also when abandoning it in mid-air and seeing how it crashes it will instantly vanish.

Actually, the Skylift is obtainable in TBoGT WITHOUT cheats. lol232 has a known method, however, it's tricky.

 

As for the Cargo Plane, most people just spawn it with the save editor and quicksave at the airport, thus when they load up the game, they are in the Cargo Plane and ready for take off. I have the Titan on Trevor's helipad for a long time, though. V is the only GTA game that I like to mod and mess around, but eventually I will do another 100% playthrough when all the silly DLC's and Patches have completely stopped, like how I do all my other playthroughs for GTA games: 100%, perfect stats, and a vehicle collection.
