I am 86 years old. I am very new in GTA. I want, to play it without missions. Is that possible?

Many thanks...

Why not? Is there a law against 80 year olds playing video games?

Back to topic: Yes you can still do side missions, explore and collect things but If I am not mistaken, you will have to play a few missions to unlock more activities and things to do.

thanks. In GTA I want to rent a apartment, to find a woman, to have a dog, car, boat. Simple: I want to live in GTA and have the possibility that I can always return (with car or by feet) to my home, the apartment, to my wife and to my dog.

Sounds like you should be playing the Sims instead. GTA is first and foremost a crime simulator, and you can't do half the things you just described.

Neither is GTA V then. Try second life.

I am in Second Life now six years.

Play all missions first, after this you can switch to franklin,he have a dog.

If you whant a wife switch to Michael, he have one and two sons.

Musst I play ALL missions?

Theres a girl on my friends list that's playing since launch almost a year ago. Doesn't play missions ever.. Shes level 25 or so. She bought a fancy apartment by robbing stores.

Play the missions. You'll enjoy them. Almost all missions are very easy to complete so you don't have to be a really good gamer.

You'll probably end up enjoying the game anyway. Have fun old timer.

Not sure of serious or new troll account to highlight the lack of activities and content in GTA V :p

Serious answer: No, this is the wrong game for you. The only thing to really do, day in and day out, is drive around or shoot stuff. Or, story missions.

The side activities don't take very long to do, aren't designed to be repeatable every day, and are based more on outdoor sports or hobbies than general lifestyle.

Genuinely, there's not really a crime game that offers what you want. As others said and you may know, playing a Sims with some sort of online community mod, playing Second Life, or maybe playing a MMO like... Lord of the Rings Online or... I'm not even sure what else is good for role-play anymore.. Maybe that new Korean PvP sandbox MMO, whatever it's called. None of which are modern crime games though.

Honestly, best game at this is probably GTA San Andreas LOL. It'll feel pretty bad by modern standards but you can load in, go to the gym, get buff or fat, go on dates, buy or live in different houses or towns, etc. I think GTA V is a better open world game and is more fun to play in free roam, overall. But in terms of specific repeatable 'life' activities, GTA SA is still best. GTA V is very crime or sports-centric.

Your best bet is to find a MMO or something, really. There really isn't a good game like what you want that I can think of.

Hello S1..... many many thanks for your long answer. I am in Second LIfe 6 years and now I want to test another games like that. In GTA San Andreas I found the graphic-engine very very bad, (it is 10 years old) and i like much excellent graphic in games. Therefore i am not interested at SA. How is it with GTA IV? Are in it likewise features as in SA? The Sims are for me like a puppet theatre, not really playable.

Greetings

bernhard
